Lagers Jersey Arrives!
It's here! The IceHL jersey that became a reality arrived at my door this week. Feast your eyes on an actual Milwaukee Lagers sweater! All thanks to the great folks at RinkGear. For those unfamiliar with this fantasy hockey league project, I recommend downloading the IceHL 2012 Yearbook. It's free!
As you can see in these close-ups, the quality is absolutely spectacular! It's like nothing I would've expected — especially for a fantasy hockey team that existed only in cyberspace until now. The logos and numbers are fully embroidered and the jersey itself is made of a substantial material. After all, RinkGear manufactures their jerseys to be worn in actual hockey games.
I can't get over how cool it is to watch the continued evolution of the IceHL Project. Never in my craziest dreams did I imagine I'd get to touch an IceHL jersey, much less hang it in my closet. Again, I have to give a huge thanks to RinkGear for helping to make this happen.
And because RinkGear considers this IceHL jersey to be a success, they want to do another one! Beginning this weekend, I'll be conducting another series of polls to determine which one will be produced next. I've come up with a list of 16 jerseys that will be involved in this next round of voting. The list is based on how the jerseys finished in the last round of voting. In no particular order:
- Montreal Olympiques
- Winnipeg Winterhawks
- Quebec Armada (white)
- Seattle Aviators
- Hartford Mariners
- New Orleans Gators (white)
- Boston Colonials
- Alaska Huskies
- Calgary Cavalry
- Regina Renegades
- New York Guardians
- North Carolina Nighthawks
- Tampa Bay Barracudas
- Northwest Narwhals
- Salt Lake City Scorpions
- Washington Sentinels
Can't wait to see the next IceHL jersey hanging in my closet!
If you bought a Lagers jersey, let us know what you think of it in the comments. I can tell you that Winterhawks GM Dan Raposo loves his — and is probably hoping the Hawks are next!

Narwhals for life!!!!
How much did you spend on getting that jersey made considering it's not a real team?
If any of you guys vote for my Scorpions' jersey I'll be your best friend!!!
I got mine a few days ago, absolutely love it!
Did anyone by chance order an extra jersey they'd be willing to sell? I was going to buy one as it would be awesome to have a jersey that I helped create, but I was pretty sure someone got me one for Christmas, no such luck...

I also received my Lagers jersey and I was really amazed by the quality and all the stitched patches & numbers.
You've found a great site to make these jerseys and please keep up these limit edition runs of your fantasy teams!!!
Whoa, that looks awesome. So glad it came out well.
Looks better than most pro jerseys being used today!
That's awesome, hopefully when the next round of Jerseys are for sale I'll be able to snatch one up...would love to rock one of those bad boys.
Wow! looks awesome. I'm quite impressed with the quality. I think I might just purchase one of those one of these days. I'm also considering having Rink Gear do up some of my very own concepts, maybe the Dallas Stars jerseys I just made that I love so much.
Prayin' for the Mariners and that Poseidon logo as a shoulder patch...let's make it happen!
Winnipeg, Alaska, and Regina are all jerseys I'd love to own. Logos and Jerseys for each mesh very well together and would not at all look out of place if they entered the NHL tomorrow.
Love mine! Hope the Winterhawks are next!
I wish I had paid more attention to this earlier. Those Lagers jerseys look so nice. I'm gonna be keeping watch on this and save up for the next run of jerseys. I'm just gonna say I may have Winterhawks as my vote.
How much did he jersey cost?
Aaron: RinkGear set the price at $95. Not bad considering the quality.
I've been on this site since the NHLToL days, but first time poster. This jersey looks so nice, the quality is amazing, too bad i missed the mark and didn't get one :(
That's so freaking cool.
Sucks that the Wave jersey isn't in there. We might be able to talk one of the Wave junior teams into buying a set!
But, it'd still be amazing to wear a jersey I designed, so vote Olympiques!
@Jon W, the wave Jr teams just got new jerseys this year, I know I had to buy them.
It really looks stunning!
That Lagers jersey looks amazing! It makes me excited to see for the chance to see whats next. I'd love to have a Narwhals jersey, but I'm wondering how it will accomidate the IceHL patch with the number on the front. The Huskies, Scorpions, Calvary and Aviators are all really interesting to me too.
Glad to see the Lagers jerseys turned out so well! Also happy to see the Nighthawks are in contention for the next vote, since they very well could've won if they didn't face the Lagers in Round 1.
Oh yeah, please consider adding the Houston Hellcats jersey to the next round of votes. It came really close to knocking off the eventual runner-up Winterhawks. Actually, it was closer than any other match-up the Winterhawks had later. Edmonton Kodiaks, Blue Crabs and Pioneers were also eliminated by a slim margin that round to... all of them were much closer to advancing than the Nighthawks. Not sure how well any of them would do, but maybe they deserve consideration. Play-in round or three team votes maybe?
Awesome. Just simply, awesome. Makes me regret not ordering one this time. I am FOR SURE in next round! Get job, RinkGear!!!
