IceHL Logo Winner!
After a week of voting, it has been determined that IceHL artist Ross Taylor's design will officially become the IceHL league logo! Congrats to Ross. Look for his work at the IceHL League Office page at ESPN.
Based on the response to this contest, I'm worried about moving ahead with jersey designs. Let me know in the comments if you plan on submitting artwork and for how many teams. If it seems like there is a decent response, I'll consider moving forward. You may use anything from Adobe Illustrator to Microsoft Paint for your artwork, but the quality standards will still be set very high. There's no point to this if the entries look like junk. (Sorry.)
If we do move forward, I will explain the process for getting the logos to be used in your artwork. Until then, there's no need to ask.

I already have one designed from last time and I planned on doing at least one more for another team
I plan on designing jerseys for 4-6 teams, and there will be good motivation for me to do so without having to use a set template.
Im down for designing some jerseys for a bunch of teams, just depending on how much time i have. I think the template and the strict guidelines and requirements (like having to create the entire font and number style) made it too much for some the last time around. I hope more contribute as well.
I'm planning on designing jerseys for about 3 or 4 teams.
i already have them finished for the logos i was successful with.
I'm sure I'll be submitting at least a few jerseys. If there aren't any restrictions as to what templates will be used for designing jerseys, I'm sure there will be at least a fair amount of interest.
only problem is, i don't have logos for the jerseys. :P
im new to this but I am enjoying making new designs, ill do as much as i can
I have 4 almost ready from last time. However, to be honest, I thought it was pretty boring having to do separate proposal sheets for the home and away uniforms. I also agree with the people saying that the format/template was too tedious.
If the next steps are simple enough and not too time consuming, I guess quite a bunch of people would like to join. But creating the jerseys with the complete letter kits and showing it from different angles is quite hard to do, if you want to submit something for more than a few teams. If the first step would be making kinda rough (but suitable and reckognizable) designs for the jerseys, I'd like to join too.
I do not know how to design these but I am hopeful that you will get enough interest. I love this stuff.
I'm the GM of the St. Louis Archers for this seasons fantasy IceHL. I have been working on some designs for the Archers jersey using the template from the suspended project. I'm not very good with Photoshop, but I've been having fun anyway, and hope the design project gets more interest this time around.
i will definately be designing jerseys for some teams.
I'd be willing to do about 10 teams if we do it again. I think their will be a lot of interest if the guidelines are more loose. We should have a template for everybody to use so that the entries are judged on the designs and not who's got the better template, but it should be simple. Maybe we could use a template similar to the ghettofarmboy template from a couple years ago.
I think a template with just the jersey, pants, socks, and helmet is all you need. I think getting into the script and number design is a little too much for something that won't have that much of an impact on the overall design.
i agree with the above comment. even if you just have a name bar on the jersey and a number, we just need the logos. i see that no one took the blue crabs for teh fantasy league, can we still make jerseys for them
