That chubby Penguin will always have a special place in my heart, but I'm afraid the 1971 logo is just too awesome to pass on.
I really hope that 1992 monstrosity doesn't garner any more votes.
I miss the yellow in today's logo so I voted for '71. The gold is just too pale...

92 is by far a much better logo than the cartoony penguin wearing gloves and carrying a stick.
I know a lot of people don't like 92, but a modded version of that would be so cool.... and I agree, it's time to go back to Yellow instead of Gold. I know it's called the Golden Triangle, but when all the other sports teams match the color of bridges crossing the rivers in Yellow, it REALLY needs to be Yellow.
Long Live the Skating Penguin!!!!!!!!!!! I don't care which skating Penguin logo wins, as long as that piece of @#$% pigeon logo doesn't get anymore votes. However I would like to see a return to the yellow gold. For those of you that like the pigeon logo of '92, all I have to say is "STANLEY CUP BANNERS". That's right all you "pigeon" lovers The only Penguin logo that has ever won a Stanley Cup let alone 2 was the "Skating Penguin". Now that the Howard Baldwin "pigeon" is gone for good the "pigeon" curse has been lifted!
I like the penguin with the hockey stick, but I don't like the Vegas gold color, so I picked 1971.
Either skating Penguin logo is awesome, but I chose '71 for tradition's sake. I don't mind the Vegas gold at all, but the yellow is classic. As for the Dead Pigeon, consider it buried... though in its defense, it is better than that stupid whale coming out of the C that Vancouver uses.

I can't believe how many people voted for the ugly mid 90's pigeon. Worst logo ever in any sport. I actually like the Vegas gold.
HE HAD A SCARF. That alone made the logo fantastic.
The logo which included the scarf on the penguin, was never featured on the jersey. That logo was only used for the first season, when the penguins just had "PITTSBURGH" spelled out diagonally across the jersey instead of a logo. When they added a logo to the jersey in the second season, the logo was changed to the one that Daniel referred to in a previous post.
Nothing beats the skating penguin and Pittsburgh gold.
