I'm with the Mooterus, It could have been so much better. What was going through the designer's head when he/she made it? Though It looks like the Golden Seals could win.
Either way Wild Wing Owns Both of these logos in terms of worst.
I'm not a big apologist for the Seals logo, but I'd hate to see it beat the Stars. It was made in the 60s. Give it a break already.
And that bull is a special kind of awful: not just an ugly, lazy, cynical 3rd Jersey cash in, but also unintentionally hilarious. How many logos can say that?
The Mooterus deserves a shot at the Mighty Duck.
The Seals logo isn't good but at least it can blame it's bad look on when it was designed (the same time gave us the crappy Bruins Tiger-Bear logo). The Stars logo just sucks. It has nothing to blame that on.
That Seal is ugly and a half. Who cares when it was made.
If it had been anything other than the Golden Seal Logo I would have voted for the Mooterus

Ducks: Wild Wing, WORD logo, i actually like the Disney triangle
Sharks: biting a stick? triangle on chest...no triangle on shoulders, real original

The Seal could be made to look decent with a few tweaks. The bull is going to continue to look obscene (literally) even after edits. There shouldn't be much of a contest here.
The Seals logo was designed by Charles M. Schulz (the late beloved Peanuts cartoonist). The Stars logo, there's no excuse for...

That Seals logo looks like Picasso took a dump on a hockey jersey. Terrible. Just terrible.
At least you can make out what's going on with that Stars jersey. The Seals logo is just a jumble of shapes and lines that's supposed to be a seal holding a hockey stick. I don't care who drew it ... it sucks.
Looks like this is going to be a close race.. but I think we all know in our hearts that the Stars jersey is the worst of all.
I've said it before, red isnt one of the Stars colors. What would the Seals look like now if they hadnt failed? The Stars are still here and Tom Hicks probably paid a bunch of douche bags to come up with this logo. A strong, powerful logo.....You had it right in 1993. If this logo doesnt advance then, you are all crazy. Anyone who likes it....No, anyone who can tolerate it should be slapped and banned from watching hockey. Then slapped again. Then anyone who lives with that person should also be slapped. Then their parents should be slapped, because, lets face it, they failed as parents. Ok thats all.

This is getting silly. If you were to show someone who knew nothing of the Dallas Stars, and said "Here is a logo for the Dallas Stars" they would go, "Ok." And then you would ask them, can you explain what the logo is? The response would be "A contsteallation of a bull, with one red horn"
If you were to show someone the logo of the California Golden Seals, and asked them to explain it they would say "Ummm, well I see a "C" I guess that thing must be a seal. Not sure what all the other stuff is, is there more letters in this logo? I can't tell. Is the Seal cut up or something? Why is it made up of chunks? From 4 feet away it looks like a scribble."
The seals logo is by far the worst hockey logo ever, because it looks like nonsense. You should not have to decipher it. People are voting on the Dallas Bull logo, for reasons other than it being a logo. It does not matter what the teams name is, its the logo. The seals is worse, if they did a national poll on EPSN, it would not lose to the Seals (or the fucking blue jackets for gods sake!)

They actually did a poll and 9 out of 10 doctors said the seals logo looked like a logo for a bay area hockey team from the late '60's early ''70's.

Makes you wonder why the golden seals went through like 4 versions of the same logo. Must be because its trash.
The overall color scheme has NOTHING to do with the logo. The Blue Jackets had highlighter yellow in their color scheme, but thats not a problem? A fucking bug wearing a backwards cap is not a problem!? A bull, MADE OF STARS, is bad because of a red streaking star, A SHOOTING STAR!!
It was an alternate 3rd jersey, the fact that the Oilers ELIMINATED orange from their 3rd jersey, and added Grey is not a problem? In fact it won best 3rd jersey logo.
