Kings Getting New Thirds In November

Got an email from a reader this afternoon regarding a new third jersey for the Los Angeles Kings. Blogger Rich Hammond has word that the new sweater will be introduced in November incorporating "several looks from the past." Apparently all season ticket holders will receive one. The Kings black and silver Gretzky era jerseys are my favorite jerseys ever. I hope it looks like those.

i liked both the silver and black gretzky-era jerseys, and the original gold and purple.

why is the sidebar on the left?
The sidebar on the left will take some getting used to...
yeah.. sidebar on the left is a change.
i don't like the sidebar on the left. the sidebar is rarely new information, instead it is the old information that we will probably look back to at a later date.
since we read from left to right, putting it on the left is the first thing we look at, instead of the new stories that you WANT us to notice first.
that, and it looks, for a reason i cannot explain, more crowded and even unbalanced.
i know you're changing things, but that's one change i do not like and i hope will be reversed
I agree with hockey week. It makes sense to have the sidebar on the right because we read left to right and want to read new things first.
Guys, he said the blog will be undergoing a facelift sometime soon. It may seem awkward now, but the new design may support it well. I don't like it either, but I have a feeling anything Chris changes probably has some significance to it. Like he said, it's all for the better.

The Kings should just do the obvious. Bring back the original purple and gold with the classic crown. I would bring back the 60s and 70s purple version with the gold piping around the arms. Those were beautiful, unique, yet traditionally designed sweaters. They should be be the full-time sweaters with a new white version for away, and a gold version for a third
Fixed the writer's name. Lousy typos. And I just wanted to see what it would be like with the sidebar on the left. I'm glad you guys don't like it because I really didn't either.
Everything's back to normal. I don't want to change things for the sake of change and I think that's all that was. More to come...
I would like to see the Kings bring back the purple and gold jerseys. The NHL needs some more color. I would prefer those over the silver and black ones. Go Stars!
