while i like this admirals logo better than their last... i really liked the way their last jersey looked... they should have used that template and colored it blue and black.

the Marlies logo has got to be one of the best in all of sports.
It puts a nod towards the old Marlies teams and the leafs while looking modern and classy.

How is no one saying how HIDEOUS the Admirals logo is?? It looks like it was drawn by a four-year-old.
I totally agree with NHL Jeff. That Admirals logo is awful. A high school team would be embarassed to sport that image. What is wrong with the people who are voting for that? Or are they just some of those knee-jerk "Toronto sucks" types?
The Marlies probably have the best, most professional-looking logo in the AHL. It has classic touches, and doesn't look like a failed first-grade art project. If there's any justice in this world, the Marlies will pull out a last minute win here.
Maybe there should be an AHL secondary logo competition - I really like the Marlies shoulder logo!
Personally, I love the Admirals logo. Just something really cool about a team that has an undead kid as its mascot.
And don't mistake the simplicity of the form for something a four year old can do. There's a subtlety in the proportions in the shapes and the negative space between the jaw and the rest of the skull that requires a good sensitivity to design.
All I can say here, is that this was an absolute travesty. The admirals logo is by far one of the worst of the OHL. I don't know how people could vote for it above the Marlies.
I got here late to the voting party but this result is an ABORTION! Good gravy people, is everyone retarded? The Marlies have an absolutely gorgeous logo and the Admirals, while it is quirky, is a shit fest!
