Oilers 2nd To Don 3rd

The Edmonton Oilers became the second team of the Rbk EDGE era to wear a third jersey — doing so while defeating the Colorado Avalanche tonight. There aren't a lot of pictures available right now, but here are a couple.

There's no denying they look good in those sweaters.

Almost like they could win a Stanley Cup or something.

You've probably already found this, but if not, the Oilers website has a story and photos of Mathieu Garon and Dwayne Roloson: http://oilers.nhl.com/team/app/?service=page&page=NewsPage&articleid=385746

You should have a poll, Chris.

Which jersey looks better: the Oilers' current home and away set? or the Oilers' new third jersey? I pity the few people that actually vote for the first option.

Anyone else notice that during the fight in the first period, the Oilers players shoulder pad tore a hole in the back of the jersey? Doesn't seem like top quality manufacturing.

Nice to see the Oilers not wearing their RBK practice sweaters.

Iginla got in a fight in Calgary the other night and one of the numbers on the back of his jersey was partially torn off. I've never seen that before.
