Bolts Confirm Unveiling For Sunday

In an email sent to season ticket holders, the Tampa Bay Lightning have confirmed that they will unveil and debut their new third jersey on Sunday when they play the New Jersey Devils.

Icethetics has had the unveiling date of Sunday for some time but the big news is that the new blue sweater will hit the ice for the first time the same night.

You can see a screenshot of the email below.

The email does not specify any other games where the Bolts will use this new sweater. I'll keep you posted as I find out more.

Hmmm... I think the Bolts will look good in their thirds against the Devils, logo or wordmark. Not my team, but I hope they get you a win Chris, and beat RSC's Devils! (No offense meant)

Why do you not have the Habs 'special' uniforms listed in the calendar section? i believe they are wearing one this saturday when they retire Roy's #33.

Yeah I can't wait to see this jersey for real, it has been that I have wanted to see ever since they announced it this summer. Lightning are my second favorite team next to my Blues.
