Canada's Olympic Jersey Set Leaks

Exactly two weeks before the planned unveiling date, a photo of Canada's three new Olympic jerseys has surfaced online. The photo above was posted to Reddit by "justacanuck88" who wrote, "The new Canadian Olympic Jersey's [sic] just came in. What do you think?"

I'm packing for my trip, so I have to post and run. In the meantime, answer the guy's question in the comments. What do you think? I'm saving my commentary for Oct. 8 when the jerseys are officially released.

awful. These uniforms are a total disgrace. Hockey is not a sport like bobsledding or skiing where you can wear some flashy tight fitting thing and change it up every year. We are talking about the national religion of Canada. Team Canada should have an iconic jersey and NEVER change it. Just bring back the 2010 uniforms and rotate a third jersey every year if you want a cash grab.

Someone at Nike has developed a shiny applique and they just gotta use it, don't they?
It looks horrible on the NFL jerseys.
The defending gold medal champs & the greatest hockey nation in the world, is being dictated to by Nike, that fake shiny laces, a t-shirt collar and a 1990-ish asymmetrical design is exactly what our guys should be wearing?
Someone at Hockey Canada should have the balls to tell Nike; "jam your wanky, shiny, crap....We're not wearing it."

If you think we should be using the same materials we used in the 90's and never change then you clearly have no clue what you are talking about , did you even think for one second maybe its not all about look and maybe its a little about performance on the player , You fans act like they make these jerseys for YOU , Another thing Hockey Canada has nothing to do with the jerseys brand IIHF does and the NHL Why do you think Gary Bettman was going to all those meeting , It wasn't just about getting NHL players in Soshi it was about many things including jerseys and if you are whining now just wait 30 years down the line when we are wearing a material that hasn't even been invented yet . Like how old are most of these commenters LOL Another thing thing for " EL " You talk as if Team Canada never changes there jerseys ..... you must be kidding right ? They Change every Olympic year even if its just taking the black away or when the stripes were diagonal down the arm .... The same jerseys the Swiss now wear ......
