warning flag always better then a state
Okay, if the canes don't win this i'll be shocked. State outlines = boring.
It's only because of this tournament that I've started to buy into the beauty of Phoenix's simple design.
Wow, there seems to be a lot of hurricane flag fans out there. I've always thought that thing was pretty lame.
Ya, state outlines are lame too, but the PHX thing is just a beautiful logo. I would hate to see a second high-quality logo done in by the Cane flag.
But I do have one beef with Phoenix: sun on the shoulder, moon on the pants. Pick one. (And don't pick the moon. It sucks.)
I agree with Jacob that the Hurricanes' logo is lame. And as long as state outlines done right, they look good, like Phoenix's. Tampa's however is not done right that's why it sucks.
Carolina's looks like clip art from Photoshop...
Phoenix's logo is for people who are geographically challenged. It is nice to see the designers incorporate Arizona's state flag into the logo. Also, the "H" in "PHX" approximates the exact location of Phoenix.
Carolina's logo is to warn people of the severity of the storm approaching. Despite others bitchign about its appearance as a ClipArt or MS Paint job, it describes the team's identity a lot more accurately.
My vote to the 'Canes b/c I'm not geographically challenged nor do I think the 'Yotes secondary logo is that impressive, might as well slap the (complete) Arizona state flag on their shoulder just like Calgary did with Alberta's provincial flag.
Coyotes. I can't think of anything I don't like about their uniforms, secondary logo included.
