Two absolutely horrible logos in the second round.. A shame that one has to make it to the third, but if I have to choose one, I choose the Capitals for at least being mildly more interesting to look at.
Had it been up against the diamond shark fin logo.. but alas, San Jose in all their non-wisdom decided not to go with that as a secondary, and instead opted for idiotic redundancy.
Hawks' is a classic. One of the first alternate logos I ever noticed as a kid.

artymous: pretty strong words considering they're only logos. you're not going to find a rembrandt. i thought both of these were pretty good. i went with caps, in my opinion they should replace their main logo with their third jersey logo- i'm not a fan of plain old letters, unless it's done in a classic style like dallas has.
artymous is bitter that his sharks didn't win. why on earth would you incorporate orange into your team's logo? caps have a better and more intricate logo. caps over 'hawks
As a Caps fan, I never realized how many people thought our Weagle was awesome until hearing you guys talk about it. At the actual unveiling of the uniforms/patch, people saw it and we kinda thought "oh, another bird." I think we kinda realize now how cool it turned out to be.
Also, that Chicago shoulderpatch is the earliest shoulder patch I can remember, and seemingly incorporates a bears looking C with the Blawkhawk motiff, which seems cool to me. I voted Caps, just because of more being there, but the Hawks logo is not anything to laugh at.
I still can't believe how mutch the Weagle rule.
But I agree: hawks logo is something to respect also. Tought choice, but caps will get an edge because the more you look at it, the more it become apparent that this is the best one out there.
And the fact that their new RBK edge jersey is the best of the bunch doesn't hurt either...
heh. I'm not bitter, or anything else. I just don't like either logo.
