Flames Post Online Jersey Teaser

The Calgary Flames have formally announced September 4 as the date for their official jersey unveiling. A date I already have in the sidebar countdown.

Unfortunately, the image they posted is merely a teaser and while can't see the finer details of the jersey — such as a shoulder patch — it does appear that the home sweater will be red with a lace-up collar. Pretty nice. Can't wait to see the rest of it.

I want to see the new shoulder logo too. Should be interesting to see what they come up with.

These images also suggest that the Flames will revert back to the "Flaming C" with a red centre instead of a black centre. Either way, as a Canucks fan, these jerseys will read enemy in my mind!

Johnny, I don't think it suggests that at all.. The red C is the C they've always used for white jerseys, and it'd just get lost on the red ones, so expect to see the Black one, as usual on the Red jerseys.

Guess that's true......I just saw that one image with the close up of the new laces which has the red "Flaming C" off to each side. And before it was a black C on red it was a white C on red anyway. With that said, I wounder how the white jerseys would look with a black "Flaming C"? Pretty sharp I bet!

Black is the way to go with this logo
