Poll: Lightning vs Flyers

By the way, just like with the Senators in their match with the Rangers, when the Lightning unveil their new logo on August 25, it will take effect on this poll that day or the day after. So the "old logo" will only be here for just one or two days. I know the timing is funky but bear with me if you can.

To those who wonder why I couldn't see a P in the Flyers logo, it dates back to my earliest conceptualization of the logo. Must have been about 5, when we played hockey card games at school. I always saw the wings/feathers as if they were four fingers of a hockey glove. Therefore I saw the circle as the rest of the glove. I could never understand where the thumb was, and I thought maybe the circle was a face off circle, or later when I knew more, I thought the circle part was like the British airplane marking in the second world war. My eye was trained to see it this way, and even now I have to work to see the P. They could do it better, way better. They could also update the gay orange color. They could and they should, IMO.
Lightning logo looks better than it used to, but it looks like it belongs on some cheap NBA expansion team. Flyers all the way. In design, they teach you simpler is better
An effective logo is one that you can easily recognize as a silhouette, as well as in color. How many of you can say you would recognize the Tampa Bay logo as a silhouette against the Philadelphia logo as a silhouette? It's simple, it's effective. You see it, you instantly know what it is. The Maple Leaf, The Red Wing, The Canadien Habitant, New Jersey Devil, The St. Louis Blue, so on and so forth.
The Lightning logo actually looks really good to me...
Comparing the actual logos right now, and not the history or how long the logos have been around, I think the Lightning have the better of two up there, and I also have always wanted all my fav. sports teams to get that same color scheme, Blue Black and Silver/White, it looks so good on uniforms, compared to Philly's Pumpkin Patch Orange. Ew.

lol it took me a while to realize that it had a P in there. I've always noticed the wings, obviously for Flyers but took me a while to realize the P for Philly.
hey give the flyers a break so they had one bad year about the logos i prefer tampas old one over this new one tho niether are very good they need to get rid of the circle
come on flyers fans....keep the voting going.....the new lightning logo shouldnt be a factor for them to come back in this poll....if a logo is classic, it should win....the lightning have cool new uniforms, but that shouldnt change the momentum of the vote....be true to your vote and dont let a new tampa logo sway your honest vote...go flyers
Flyers because the TB logo looks like the Gatorade logo
Man, this tournament isn't about logos anymore. It seems that it is more of a "my team is better than yours" tournament. Vote on the logos, of which the Flyers is better.

I think that new Tampa logo sucks. It was a tough choice until the Bolts switched. Now, it's Flyers in a landslide.
