hmmm...boring vs. busy...and two relatively not-that-great teams. It's a toughy.
But....Pheonix, I guess? I don't really even know that the blues exist.
Considering that it is though to come up with good logo when the team is called the Blues, I think they did a decent job in St Louis. The Coyotes logo is I bit too much on the cartoon side for my taste. My vote is going for the Blues
I wish the Coyotes had kept their old logo. I loved that thing. But I still think this one is cool, so that's what I'm going with.
man, you have a salary dump and a change in ownership and 2 bad years and everyone questions the existence of your team. i'm pretty sure we still hold the record for consecutive seasons in the playoffs. i'm also pretty sure that the blues have been around for 40 years. your minnesota wild? 7 years. please.
I actually love the Blues logo. Never been a fan of the 'yotes logo though.
Two lackluster logos here but the nod will go to the blues. When I look at the coyote howling it reminds me of when I was a kid and my dad would sing and make the basset hound howl along.
Blues logo wins. The floating blow-yote head sucks, literally, it looks as if it's about to fellate another woodland creature.
This is a tough choice, but I went with the 'Yotes. I really like the desert dogs new uni's. I don't understand how ppl think they are too "busy" or "cartoony" especially when you compare them to their old monstrosity of a jersey. Those old jerseys looked like a bad coffe mug design from an Indian casino gift shop.
And the Blues logo itself is a classic, I think. But their color schemes have mostly been a bit too busy for my tastes. Too many thin yellow lines and the years with the orange lines...blech. Clean it up and tone it down.
I love the Blues' logo. It's one of the best in the league.

Orange lines? WTF are you talking about? There was a period of time where the Blues incorporated blue, gold, RED and white into the Note. It was replaced by our current Note which is sharp and harkens back to the earliest days of the club during the 67 expansion. As "Second Six" teams go the Blues have the best logo. End of story.
I'll be the first to admit that the Blues attempt to integrate red into the logo, then into the jerseys were the dark years for the team's look.
I don't understand how their color schemes are "busy", other than the obvious red debacle of the 90s. I suppose when you compare it to a team like the Wings, then yeah. But I can think of several more busy color schemes than the Blues.
I love their current look, and hope they stick as close to it with the new jerseys as they can.

The Blues Logo is a classic, love it.
Blues log is clean, classic and simple. One of the best in the NHL. Blues, Music note and the home of the blues. Makes sense to me.
Shouldn't the Coyotes logo include the roadrunner and a painted railroad tunnel... plus a stick of TNT and some Acme bird seed?

Blues here; I just haven't cared for the 'yotes jerseys since they changed them. I thought the old one was cool in it's own way, the new one though? Nope.
Oh, and because we have to have some reason to close this comment board down; wild_fan_in_ma, you suck!
Heh, seriously though, aweseome job keeping it about the logos here.
The Blues should go with the Retro Jersey design. They wore the retro's a bit last year. They're much nicer then anything they've had in 25 years.
