I don’t really like the flyers logo, but compared to the bird stuck in a tornado it looks a lot better

This isnt a contest. Flyers hands down.
While I do like the Thrashers logo, it really has nothing to do with Atlanta.
The Flying P is just a classic.

Tell that to everyone in Calgary who voted for their team, formerly the Atlanta Flames.
Let Atlanta have the Flames name back; Calgary can be the Jazz. It would make as much sense as it does in Utah.

I believe the thrasher is the Georgia state bird. That other logo they had was way cooler.
Ok so if the thrasers new college logo beats a classic like the flyers something is wrong with the world. Flyers hands down.
Agree completely with that one, can't beat a classic like the Flyers logo.

For the people saying Thrashers have nothing to do with Atlanta. It is the State bird (Brown Thrasher http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._state_birds)
also the Atlanta flames were named after the burning of atlanta (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlanta_in_the_Civil_War#The_fall_of_Atlanta)
The original road jersey was better than this current logo, I don't know why they decided to drop it and go with the powder blue jersey. I mean, it could be worse, we could have something like the coyotes or whatever the hell columbus has. I think we have teh best logo of the newest teams, inluding the Wild. I just don't understand why teams are named after something that doesn't end in an "s", like the Avalanche and Wild. Also, they should be named after a city, not an entire state. But I digress...Being a Flyers fan for about 20 years now, long before my Thrash were even thought of, I have to go with the flying "P" as well.
Both these logos are hideous. The only reason they're still in the tournament is because they were lined up against even more hideous logos in the previous round. But who am I? I love the Rangers and Leafs logos and they're out.
i like them both, but the flyers win... i don't see the point of a bird and a hockey stick stuck in a tornado.... i think they could do a little more with it. but nonethe less, this vote is close in my book.
logo should be soming that is reconized by the general casual fan. I also like a loge that younger childrewn can copy ie with pen/pencil ie min of detail that can only be reproduced by computer

The Flyers logo IS classic. But it's still hard on the eyes. I keep seeing a backwards 'F' -- took me years to realize it's actually a 'P'.
Thrashers logo is a great logo, but folks around here seem to be biased against the more modern looking logos.
For the guy saying the state bird of Georgia has nothing to do with Atlanta, what the heck does a Flyer have to do with Philadelphia?
i think it has more to do with consonance than anything else. love those literary devices. but couldn't flyers be a suitable name in most cities? what does it not have to do with philadelphia?
or alliteration, rather. whichever it is.
I'm a Sabres fan, and despite the Buffaslug, I still think it's better than Atlanta's logo. That said, as much as I despise the Flyers, I just can't let the Thrashers logo go any further in this tournament.

To everyone saying it is a bird stuck in a tornado, take a look at it, it is a birds wing winding up to take a shot! Also what does a wheely looking logo have to do with the flyers. I love the Thrashers Logo, but maybe that is because I am from Atlanta.
a "wheely looking logo?" it's a p with wings. pretty self-explanatory. i don't know exactly what kind of shot that bird is winding up for, but no doubt it'll be an awkward one. give that thing 2 minutes for high-sticking.
