Possible Vintage Logo Tournament

There are still 9 days left to vote, but yesterday I showed you what the next logo tournament might look like if the present results stand. At the moment, the Third Jersey Logos are in the lead, followed by the Vintage Logos. If Vintage ends up being the subject of the next Tournament of Logos, here are the 16 logos that would be used.

I'll determine the bracket randomly but that wouldn't be posted until the voting is over, anyway. Personally, I hope we get to do this tournament at some point in the future. I'm very curious to see what the results would be. I think it would be a very close competition.

Later this week I'll show you what the a secondary logo tournament would look like.

Hey Chris- With these new tourneys I think we should only do 2 days of voting if that is possible, just to keep the momentum going. I've gotten kind of lost in the main tourney without clicking on the brackets on the main page.

Whalers wins hands down. ;-) I'm also fond of Quebec. If the Cleveland Barons or Oakland/California Seals were in, they'd be up there, too. Anyway, I definitely want to see this tournment!

harford is definatly a great logo. while the w is very noticable what many people dont realize is the h in the negative space thats formed by the w and the tail. a great great logo. that being said...GO CAPS!!

All Original 6 logos own. Anyway the clear winner imo are the Sabres. Its just a great logo.

just a thought: you have teams that have since moved and teams that still exist in your vintage assortment. all 30 teams have older logos.

why not make it two separate votes?
include a third one for teams that do have since been extinct.

also, you care including logos that we already voted on. again, just a thought. this is your show and you are doing a much better job that i could ever, keep it up. thanks

The Sabres might not win, but they can go a lot deeper in this tournament than their current logo losing to the Thrashers...that is sad and pathetic.
