oh geez, im going blind for seeing too much purple! yuck, puke!!! sadly, one of these "designs" has to "win"
im goin with the demented BK logo.
The burger king logo is clearly terrible. I remember the striping pattern and....OMG.
I always liked the "Burger King" jersey. Back when the 3rd jerseys first came out in 1996, they were supposed to be bizarre... and that one certainly fit the bill.
Having said that, there's no way I can vote for the '67 crown. That's one of the greatest logos ever.
i dont think anything is wrong with the crown, but the old man logo is.....less than desirable and when you match it with the jersey, you have a disaster....yes it is worse in my opinion than the Sabres slug and that plain toronto jersey that seems to be causing so much commotion
While the angry king does look like a minor league logo, that crown just has too many ... well ... balls on it. It looks like a lightbulb sign for a cheap casino in a seedy part of Vegas.
Santa spilled grape juice on his beard. :(
Dare I say it? You all do know that the original "Kings" crown logo is what is typically worn by a Queen right? This may have worked for a team in San Fransisco, but that is deffintely not a Kings crown. I voted the origianl crown as worse of the for the simple fact it's the wrong frakkin crown.
A crown versus a king, both suck but i still think that a king is better logo than a crown. So i have vote for the crown.
My vote goes to the Burger King logo. What really FRUSTRATES me is how people in the hockey world can dislike the Kings' classic purple and gold crown and uniforms! For people's information, the NFL's Minnesota Vikings and the NBA's LA Lakers just happen to wear purple and gold. The fans who follow and the media who cover NFL and NBA respectively, hardly criticize the Vikings' and Lakers' uniforms. Furthermore, purple and gold is very synonymous with royalty and California. Why the heck does NHL hockey today always have to be black vs white? Blue vs white? I would put the Kings' purple and gold in the same boat as the Sabres' original blue and gold and the Red Wings red and white. It would be great if the Kings did the right thing by going back to their roots by bringing back their original colours. Colourful, yet simple and original. Just don't wear the gold pants. The NHL needs more variety of colour and simplicity of designs in their teams' uniforms.
