for some reason i am more drawn to Denis' mask. there is something about that crocodile on his mask.

I love clemmensen's mask! it just has a more consolidated pattern.. the crocodile is kind of the wrong shape for a goalie mask

i agree that the angle of Scott's mask is not a flattering one... its a much better looking mask from the front. Gettyimages.com has a bunch of better angles, but they have the damn watermark on them.

Clemmensen's old mask was one of the coolest in the NHL, the one from the Devils. But I give it to Denis on this one.

Denis has had some really nice designs over his career. His masks remind me of Luongo's in terms on composition with the character, chin design and cityscape. Marlene Ross creates some of the best paint jobs in the league (Luongo, Abby, Giguere, Garon).

Scott Clemmensen's mask rocks. I agree that his lid when he was with the Devils was even better.

Y'all should've seen Scott's mask when he was with BC, and when he was here in his hometown, playing juniors...

i have to agree with a few people on this blog. clemmensons mask is quite gorgeous from other angles and this pic just doesnt seem to do justice to it.

chris, if i can make a suggestion for your next post...maybe if you could ask the voters to just do a quick 30 second google of the goalie to see it from a few other angles before voting? the pictures used on this site shouldnt be the only one being judged. it would be like judging a painting just by staring at the corner of it...
