Name This Blog

This is my official post announcing my intentions to rename the NHL Tournament of Logos blog. It's a huge task that I cannot undertake on my own.

In the comments of this post, I would like you guys to start putting forth ideas for a new title. After a few days, I'm going to assemble a poll with some of the best options and on the blog's birthday (May 9), announce it's new name!

Here's an important thing to note when coming up with your ideas. Because people have bookmarks, I don't want to change the site's address. So we're staying put at nhllogos.blogspot.com. All I need from you guys is a new title only. (After we have that, we'll hold a contest to design a logo for the blog.)

It's all going to be up to you guys, so let's have your ideas!

How about National Hockey Logos (nhl)

In honor of your April Fool's post..."Project Runway on Ice!"

Seriously, though, I think either:

Hockey Faceoff
-I like the idea of "faceoff" because it connotes a match up between two teams or two centers and a big part of this site has and will continue to be the polls. By saying "Hockey" faceoff rather than NHL Faceoff, you can merge your other blog into this one for one all encompassing hockey fan's website.

Someone earlier mentioned Restiched, which I really like except it only focuses on the concept art aspect of the site.

or

Threading the Needle
- a perfect pass, or shot, or a sewing term to refer to the jerseys and designs.

I like the idea of using hockey terms...
Light the Lamp
Overtime
Shootout

Not big on the names that just focus on the concept art since this site is so much more. Here are some of my ideas...

1: The Extra Attacker
2: Evolution of Hockey
3: Re-Defining Hockey
4: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
5: Rebirthing the NHL

And my favorite...
PROOF THAT THE FANS ARE REVOLTING

Double meaning there
- fans are starting a revolution against the way the the NHL is now
- fans' ideas posted on this site are crazy/disgusting (Freak Out Friday).
