Wallpaper Wednesdays

This blog is all about showcasing hockey artwork so here's one more way to further that. I'm going to start posting desktop wallpaper artwork designed by you guys. Right now, it's just an idea I'm tossing around, but if it goes well, perhaps some contests are in our future.
Preferably, I'd like to start with logo-based designs. Maybe even goalie mask-based. Or whatever. Get creative and just go nuts. The sky's the limit. I'll post the ones I like. And the rest may be consigned to the Concepts Gallery.

And just so you know, I had planned to put together a few examples to post today, but I seriously misjudged my schedule and a project I'm working on currently. Hopefully I'll have time soon.

Great idea! I always use the concepts as wallpaper but they are always distorted. Also Chris great job with the site it is very enjoyable and I can't wait to check back in the summer for third jersey news. GO FLYERS

Really good idea. I think the new concept of this site as NHL art will spark new ideas like this.
i would like to be the first to congratulate the detroit red wings on winning their eleventh stanley cup. and to nick lidstrom on becoming the first european to captain a stanley cup winning team. if anybody deserved it, it was him.

I really don't want to wait till next Wednesday to see the wallpapers!! Do you think you could release 1 wallpaper a day till Wednesday? I think it will get everyone excited about "Wallpaper Wednesdays".
