Welcome to Icethetics.info!
Icethetics is getting a new home and you're looking at it! I'll admit it's a little barren at the moment but that will soon change. I plan on dedicating my weekend to helping Icethetics.info fill out a little bit.
Right now, the main thing is to make sure you start rating the logos in the IceHL's Pacific Division. Rate each eligible entry from 1 to 5 stars and next weekend, the top three rated logos for each team will move on to the next round. You guys will vote on those three to determine the final logos for each team.
So at the moment, we're kind of in between sites. But after Saturday, I will no longer be updating icethetics.blogspot.com. Everything that's new will be found right here.
As for what you can expect this weekend, I'm going to start transferring a lot of content from the old blog, including third jersey news and countdowns along with the Flashback '98 logo tournament which will pick up in Round 3 this weekend.
As far as comments, anyone may add a comment to a blog post. That will change soon once I start accepting memberships. You'll be able to sign up for free and will be able to comment at any time. Anonymous comments may be posted but will be moderated first.
If you guys have any questions, comments, suggestions or any other ideas for this brand new site, don't hesitate to drop me a line either by comment or by email.
Enjoy Icethetics.info!
I'm glad to hear so many of you are enjoying our new home at Icethetics.info. Like I said, I'll be adding new stuff all the time over the next several days and weeks. I think the fun part will be just adding new areas and letting you guys discover them on your own.
However, I thought I'd mention some of the new things here. The biggest and best one if you ask me, you can now view the complete archives of NHLToL, ToHL and the old Icethetics blog without every leaving Icethetics.info. Those blogs can be accessed in the Archives section in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
Some other goodies: I've transferred all of the third jersey countdowns to the new site as you can see in the sidebar. You'll also notice new logo graphics to go with it. I always loved the colored graphics I had when I first started NHLToL so I thought I'd return to something similar.
Another cool feature is the new ICE favicon that appears in your browser's address bar. And for all you Mac lovers out there, if you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch, add Icethetics to your home screen and check out the cool new button that appears!
Like I said, I'll constantly be adding more. Now that the IceHL section is up and running — and doing quite well, actually — my next step will be getting the Flashback '98 logo tournament ready to continue here. Round 3 will begin this weekend with the Rangers and Canadiens.
So keep checking back and keep looking around for what's new!

Congrats on the new site can't wait to see it full of new and exciting Third Jersey info!
woohoo! Great job chris!
Yay! I like the fact that it still feels like the "old" blog. The comments page kind of confuses me, not to complain on the first night :P. Just when I was looking to see who wrote the comments, that's all. No biggie.
Great job Chris, and very impressive for being in a rush.
I LOVE IT!
Set up like Labelscar...very nice!
im not sure how i feel about it. i love blogs.
but i hope good things will come from this.
I must say, just viewing the Pacific Division of IceHL is a tremendous upgrade over the rating system on the icethetics blog.
this is great!!
i cant wait to see this up and running fully
and a side note...the .info thing is great, works out for so SO many slogans
First of all, on this new site, I'm changing my name from "Ksy92003" to "Kevin".
Anyway, I'm really excited about the direction this website (I can call it one now) is headed. It is a bit weird that after all the hype of the Icethetics earlier in the summer, it only lasted at that URL for four months, but I think this is a great move. I can't wait until stuff starts out over here and we fill this site up a but.
'Bout time we got a real website. Things look great so far but I can't wait until this thing is complete.
Cool, can't wait to see it when it's completely finished.
Cool beans, now when are we gonna see some leaked SJ, LA jerseys!
I love it Chris. This is going to be a great site!
Hey bud, I like the design and everything and I'm a php programmer so if you ever need help with anything then just send me an email!
(Either way you choose, please email me so I know that you at least read this? Thanks.)
Like it already
Hey, Chris - the site looks great, right down to the new logo graphics. I didn't mind the gray backgrounds or anything, but I think team colors is a big improvement.
Hey Chris, does this site have some sort of RSS feeds or stuff like that?
Very nice site, Chris. Congrats.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Are we going to get some comments going for the logo voting section? I wanna hear what other people think of the logos.
Chris, you are the man!! this site is gonna put you over the top! Congrats man!
Looks great so far! Can't wait till it gets up and running fully.
Cool!
love that you brought back those colored backgrounds for the logos!
Great site dude keep it up I've been following for quite some time but never could comment since the old system had the letters and numbers confirmation code and I couldn't see what it was on my Macbook
Hey i love the new site, seems almost like its more open, like you moved from a nice apartment to a new house. I for one think this is a huge improvement to something that was already great!
this is an awesome site man keep it up. I like it now that we can search for specific things instead of just clicking on a team and looking through fifty posts to find what we wanted.
Suggestion: Add a forum so people can show their own designs and logo concepts etc. Lets bring the fans closer to each others.
Love the new site! And its nice now that I can comment!
Dude, great site! I love the new logos on the sidebar. I was never a fan of all gray backgrounds, so the team colour is a great upgrade.
Also, the logos for the Pacific Division kick ass. The best logo was probably the very first California Wave logo, the Vancouver Lumber Jacks Hockey Club one, or Sigma Kappa's (duh)
Huskies logo set. Very sharp indeed.
great stuff...it looks great, lovin the logo voting as well.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im glad the icehl is off the main page i really hated having to stroll through stuff to find nhl jersey news
Nice new site Chris! I have been a follower of icethetics since day 1 and I think that the new site will be great! I do agree with the other guys that we need a forum though...
Looks good Chris.
Excellent work on the Pacific logos designers! Top shelf stuff there.
Hey Chris, the Isles are debuting their third jersey, in case you forgotted.
Loving this!
So easy to follow great job!
Chris, absolutely great to hear you've made the big leap from blog to web site. It certainly was warranted and undoubtedly this is another milestone for a wonderful site. I have visited just about every day from the days of the NHL Tournament of Logos blog to now the Icethetics.info site.
Keep up the great work and best wishes to the future of Icethetics.info!
Awsome Site Chris! Probably your best work yet, so much more fresh and clean
it's starting to come around. awesome!
Califonia Wave logas are all amazing. All of them, except maybe the blue W are excellent. What a great compilation. Great job to those involved.
Also...love the new site, but I miss the black/grey color scheme you uised previously on the 3rd jerseys. I thought that was very sharp. I'd love to see that return.
