Bruins Third Jersey Sked

The Boston Bruins have released their third jersey schedule for the 2010-11 season. It was announced last Friday via the team's website in the Week Ahead article (Oct. 22).
The list includes 11 home dates and one on the road. The schedule kicks off this Thursday and the jersey will be employed, most notably, on Black Friday. The Bruins' black alternate uniform was launched in 2008. It is a slightly modified version of their black home jersey with their secondary logo on the front.
The sweater will be used for the following games this season:
- Thu., Oct. 28 - vs Toronto
- Sat., Nov. 6 - vs St. Louis
- Fri., Nov. 26 - vs Carolina
- Sat., Dec. 11 - vs Philadelphia
- Thu., Dec. 23 - vs Atlanta
- Thu., Jan. 6 - vs Minnesota
- Sat., Jan. 15 - vs Pittsburgh
- Sat., Jan. 22 - @ Colorado
- Sat., Feb. 5 - vs San Jose
- Thu., Mar. 3 - vs Tampa Bay
- Tue., Mar. 22 - vs New Jersey
- Sat., Apr. 2 - vs Atlanta
The only time this sweater will be used on the road is when the Bs visit the Avalanche in January. The only team that will face the sweater twice is Atlanta.

It's awesome that they release this information in advance. I preordered Johnny Boychuk's game-worn third jersey from set one, so it'll be pretty cool to make sure I get the games on DVR and see what kind of history is made in it!

According to MeiGray, the Bruins will wear thirds for 12 games, but it says nothing about whether or not they will wear the WC. I really like the third, but I'd hate to see them not wear the WC too. Good thing I don't have to make those calls...
Another great third jersey that, in my opinion, should have the regular 'B' slapped on the front and have as their permanent jersey.
I still think it'd look better with waist stripes.
Yeah, that would look pretty nasty - especially combined with the black-dominant socks. Kind of screams "Big Bad Bruins"
I like these alternates but... I like it better when alternates are a different color than the primary, especially when your primary color is black. They should make the winter classic jerseys permanent third jerseys in my opinion. If they want to modify it (replace the funky spoked B with a normal one, for example) I'd be fine with that, but I love that jersey and I don't think it should go away.
Love this jersey, but would love to see them bring back the 3rd jersey from the 90's with the Bear head.... This was a totally awesome jersey!!!
I wish the NHL would go back to white at home and dark on the road; and use 3rd jerseys on special occassions
