Newspaper Displays Ducks' Threads

A couple of people emailed in this tidbit. Apparently the Portland Press Herald had team photos of J.P. Levasseur and Jonas Hiller of the Anaheim Ducks wearing their new Rbk EDGE jerseys.

Not much to speak of. They're basically the same, but you'll notice the NHL shield on the collar as a main difference from last year's sweaters. You can see the original article here.

By the way, I know there've been a lot of updates about new jerseys in a very short span of time this afternoon, so if you're having trouble keeping up, I'll be adding all the photos to my official Rbk EDGE photo gallery.

OMG you're right it does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has to be the most plainest, most boring jersey out there. What a waste Ducks. With the great talents exhibited on this site, you know you could have done much MUCH cooler and better!

it wasn't broke so it didn't need fixed, looks good, better than half the other teams.

Gah..why are there two different versions of collars? There are some, like the Red Wings where the NHL shield goes behind the jersey on its own material, kind of inside the collar. Then there is this type (and seen on the Avs, Devis, etc.) where it's just stuck at the bottom of the collar.

I definitely prefer the former.

The ducks need a logo not a wordmark...

The NHL is sending those jerseys to England?!? Wow... way to sell the game there Anaheim!! Bravo!

If the Brits wanted to look at something tall, dark and boring... they would order a pint of Guinness.

I thought there was no way to have angled stripes. That's the whole reason Dallas is going away from the Star design.

2008-2009 season, NHL adapts old uniforms back! Fans rejoice!

I hate the shield at the bottom style that the ducks, av's, last year's all star jerseys, etc. have. The style that the other teams have looks pretty good. I hope the sharks don't adopt the crappy looking collar style.

If you shout into the jersey loud enough, you'll hear echoes. Soooooo much empty black abyss in these designs.

Is that red that I'm seeing on the collar?

The leagues worst jersey just got crappier

As a duck fan, I wish you guys were wrong, but you aren't... It is a crappy jersey... I think the color scheme is cool, and the simple designs are definitely the best... But, the logo sucks... It's boring and that's why this mix doesn't work... :(

God these ones are awful...

Those are awful. The neck looks terrible. Definitely a step down from what they had last year.
