CAPITALS NAMED CHAMPION!
Congratulations go out to the Washington Capitals' secondary logo tonight for being named by the voters here at NHLToL as the best in the league! The Capitals finished the final poll with a 52% of the more than 2,200 votes.
Thanks to everyone who voted!
As far as what's next, you guys have been putting in your nominations over the last few weeks for the NHL's worst logo. Stay tuned for news on which logos will make it into the bracket on the way to being crowned the worst in the league.

wow, that logo looks so beautiful enlarged like that!
GO CAPS GO!
do you take logo requests chris? if so can you make the caps secondary logo background in blue? thanks.
BOO! Canucks FTW.
I can't wait for the Thirds to come back net year and see this thing emblazoned nice and large on the chest of a Dark Blue Jersey.
thats two in a row i called, i r a genius. it is a good logo tho.
doug, i agree, the W-eagle on a dark blue jersey would be amazing but i wonder if rbk will mess up the striping
A very close race the entire way.....arguments could be made for either one being the best secondary logo. Congrats to the Caps and the 'Nuckers!
Hey Chris, I think your jersey rankings need to be updated....the Sens have a higher ranking than both the Sharks and Kings now. The polls are still open on these rankings but no updates have been made. Any plan for this?

Sorry, I don't take requests. Trust me, it looks better on red for the purposes of this site. I'm sure the logo will look fine on a blue jersey.

I addressed that. The polls will remain open but I do not have an plans to alter the ranking any time soon. That would be insanity. If a team was going to move up or down by more than five spots I might consider it, but otherwise it's just too small. The ranking is what it is.
Thanks for the comments, everyone!
Chris, your blog got a mention in the Caps Owner's Corner today (Jan 8), towards the bottom:

That all goes together, part of it was getting cut off, if I left it all as one line.
