Nick Spiteri: Honestly, I really, really like your design, even though everybody else seems to find it a little too far outside the box. (I struggled to come up with an outside-the-box of my own for my Outlaws concept, so of course my traditional look has got lots of thumbs up... go figure.) I love the classic look of soccer kits and the like, and while the style doesn't translate perfectly to hockey jerseys, I do think that it's fun to find inspiration there. And for what it's worth, your home jersey definitely would make a killer soccer kit, no question!
I'm really surprised my concept isn't getting much love here! It was by far the favorite of all the ones I did and I thought it was a good mix between old and new. It's got the stripping under the arms and piping as well as traditional stripping and I don't think its that busy. I'd love to hear what you guys are seeing in it!
I wasn't a fan of this logo design, but there's some great looking designs here. The new Texas logo was a great addition! The larger shoulder patches on Jon Wold's design seem really appropriate for a Texas patch and it's really well executed. I like shoulder yoke and the collar a lot on this design!
I still hate that star though.
