Canucks Unveil New Colors, Uniforms!

the orca logo is so COOL....but the "vancouver" on the chest ruined everything...

The jersey was shit when you enter the league, you then had 4 chances to make it better...yet you choose to make it worse. By far gonna be the worse jerseys in the league.

Awefull, I just dont understand how un hockey team let go such a plain and hideous jersey. For the Canucks the identity problem stays... As a graphic artist i understand the error. THEY MIX EVERYTHING... to make a pizza of all those bad design the Canucks add all those years. There is no contrast at all, i just dont understand and hope for the canucks fan this horror wonnt stay....
The last time these colours where in the league...AKA THE WHALERS, they ended up in Carolina.
Is the Vancouver word necessary? No. Should the Orca have stayed? Maybe not.
Blue and green are the colors we SHOULD be wearing, so I'm happy about that.

They say that Vancouver across the chest is an ode to past non-NHL vancouver teams. What a bunch of b.s.! SO far all the fans hate that part!

They should of put the players name above the logo....what did you forget were you play.
Lets get something cleared up - it may not the jersey that makes the team, but its still quite important.
If you show up to a job interview in crap clothes, they're gonna treat you like crap.
And call me shallow, but if I show up to a business orientated job wearing nothing but something I picked up from a dumpster, thats going to affect how I preform too.
So screw your own narrow minded ideals of acceptance and get on with reality.

So after all this hype and buildup and careful consideration, they just throw the current logo on the retro jerseys and add a horrible workmark?
Anyone who thinks that workmark adds to the jersey needs their head examined. There's barely any room left for the A's and C's. The Canucks are forever cursed with hideous uniforms.
The new uniforms are just like the team has been for years GARBAGE!!
Canuck fan in California here... for those of you that don't know... the "Vancouver" over the logo is an homage to the Pacific League Canucks.
Now for my honest opinion.
I LOVE the Blue jersey.... the white however... is an abomination. My Canucks disappoint with a jersey yet again.
It's a really nice looking jersey in paying tribute to its distant past, but the only thing I don't like with it is what many, many people seem to hate here... the "VANCOUVER" wordmark on the chest. IT IS NOT NEEDED! If it was just the Orca logo on the front, this jersey would rank much higher on the list of new jerseys that have been unveiled this summer.
I think they look pretty sharp...but I do agree with a lot of people here that the VANCOUVER seems unnecessary and clutters the front of the jersey. Colours are great, though.
