This is tough. As an Edmonton Fan I love our logo It's never changed and has great history, but the oil are going up against what could be the best logo in all of sports. The heritage of the Blackhawk logo is based on an actual chief. Not to metion it looks amaizing. I reluctantly have to choose the Blackhawks logo on this one.

It's great to see some intelligent fans realizing that this is a vote for a logo and not for your favourite team. I like the fact that the Oilers logo has remained original and agree that with all the history of Cup wins and great players, it's already got some nostalgia. Having said all that, it's tough to pick against the classic Hawks logo.
I am a true blue, bleed "copper and blue" Oiler fan. My wife even allowed me to use copper and blue for our wedding colours! Having said all that, I had to vote for the Hawks. Some things in life are just "right", that logo being one of them.
The Blackhawk Logo is truly a classic. It's right next to Detroit's Winged Wheel in distinctiveness, respectability, and overall long-lasting appeal. While Edmonton's is nice... I always mark down points for logos that have words in it (Or where words are the main focus).
Blackhawks for the victory here.

certainly wish there was some way to remove homer votes. THERE IS NO WAY THE DUMB CANUCKS LOGO IS COOLER THAN THE SHARKS BY THAT MARGIN. Canucks fans are certainly more numerous though...hmmm.

i see what you mean with the hawks... but still i chose oilers cos its just all the colours on the hawks'... you cant tell what their actual colours are

Ummmm, they usually put the crest on a jersey... that gives most fans a hint about what their actual colours are.
I have never looked at the Oilers
Logo long enough to notice how cool it really is. They have had that logo 35+ years including the WHA days.
Somehow its stands the test of time and looks both traditional and modern all at the same time

This tournament is flawed and the Hawks should be winning by 100%.

BTW, I'm not even a Hawks fan and this ticks me off. Even if they faced against my beloved Habs I would vote for them!

Wow, either it's Oilers fans just voting for their favorite team or a lot of people just have bad taste. I think it's the former.
Come on, people! I voted for the Canadiens logo over the Pens even though Pittsburgh is my favorite team.
There is no doubt Chicago has the better logo here.

The fact that the Blackhawks' logo generates a racist response like that is a good reason not to vote for it. Despite the irony that I'll be voting along with whatever anonymous turd posted the above message, I'm going for the Oilers' logo.
...even though I'm an environmentalist :)
I'm a diehard Oilers fan, and as much as I love the Oilers logo, I have to give my vote to the Blackhawks logo.

Before you and Mr Anonymous above you spread your ignorance to the world, maybe you should do some research on the history of the Blackhawks name and logo. We're not talking about the Washington Redskins here.
The Blackhawks logo has history but...is it a better design? Because thats what were essentially judging right the over all graphic design. As a graphic designer with many awards I'd have to say Oilers hands down. A cartoon indian head doesn't cut it. It looks like taht cartoon from very old Hanna barabara cartoons.

Obviously, you must have stolen those awards, as your taste in design is as atrocious as your spelling.
Oilers is pukka. The overall design is superior. Let the people decide & so far the Oilers are winning.
