Icethetics recently launched a new partnership with RinkGear.com — a partnership which will involve an IceHL jersey being manufactured and made available for you to buy! Obviously, our new friends can't commit to producing all 64 jersey designs, but they will do at least one (maybe more down the road).
So how will we decide which one they should make? A classic Icethetics voting tournament, of course! I post polls; you guys vote. (Hey, what else do we have to do during this lockout?) Today, we pick up with Round 2, down to 32 jerseys from 64.
Start voting now! We'll be moving on to the next round Sunday.
In the next round, the winning jersey designs will be pitted against one another at random based on conference.

The Renegades jersey is just terrible and I love the Shooters jerseys. What is going on?

I really like the changes to the NO and DAL jerseys. would have liked to see the white VAN jersey make it, the Blue on looks to much like the NHL teams. Looking at the jerseys in all I think they would look good on the ice (with the exception of MN, SAS, and MIL. they might make good 3rd jerseys)

What I've learned from this is that the Icehl fans sure love their Canadiens styled chest stripes, except for Hartford vs Chicago (Hartford has one of if not the best Icehl logo). Some voting that has surprised me is Northwest beating Dallas (the front of the jersey looks unbalanced), Milwaukee beating North Carolina (who I would have put in my top 3 sets, while Milwaukee's looks too busy with just a bunch of random pieces thrown together), and Alaska beating Edmonton (while it isn't the exact same, all I can see when looking at the Alaska jerseys is the Everett Silvertips of the WHL).
ME: The Icethetics jersey will come back at some point. On the last go-around, there weren't really any designs I was excited about. And there were so few that came in.
I don´t get, why the black Nighthawks jersey is losing. Its the most beautiful jersey in the whole contest...

I agree with Jon and Steffan, the Nighthawks jersey is the best of the bunch, and probably the only one besides the Cavalry and Regina that I would spend money on.
All I can say if it comes to picking a second jersey don't just pick the runner up. If it ends with the results as they are right now some great jerseys are losing out in the first round. Lagers beating out the best jersey in the league? I can only assume because people want to use it for beer league teams. And Archers and Mammoths losing to Montreal and Quebec is, I would bet, just because its Montreal and Quebec not on the merits of the jersey.
While most of these jerseys are pretty good looking St. Louis, SAS, and Cali are the only three that truly look like they were designed as one single idea/concept and actually works well together as a real jersey, even if Cali is a little Islanders. I'm a hurricanes fan and the carolina one looks like it was made in a tron video game.
