Chargers Logo Evaluations

When the polls close, ratings will be calculated for each entry to determine which ones move forward to the final voting round next week.

I love the Matt McElroy logo, but I'm not a big fan of the brown and gold combo. If it was tweaked to be maroon instead of brown, it would be perfect. As for the rest of them, I think they're a downgrade from the Motorheads logo they had before. The Slavo Kiss logo is great, but I don't want it to be selected so the Chargers could avoid similarities to the Calgary Stallions.

Thanks Jonathan - I figured people would use horses, cars or lightning - or a combo. I went with the credit card vibe, including the Zamboni leaving the magnetic strip on the card-shaped rink. It turned out hysterically good. The main logo reminds me of the old Cleveland Indians cap insignia.
The 1st set by Slavo Kiss is IMO the winner. I love everything about this logo package. Very well done!
Slavo Kiss. Awesome, I can see this one being extremely popular. It all works and looks great.
BUT! Matt McElroy has my pick for fave for this team, the originality of the logos/colours just stands out for me. I know it's a little more toonish but we already have the horse, why not have the bee/wasp? It's fun!
Slavo Kiss logo is quite good, IMO the best out of this lot. I think however the triangular secondary logo would actually work best as the primary logo and the Dwith lightning would work better as the secondary. But very nice work
I like the set done by Slavo Kiss. It's great, well executed and I don't mind the horse used as secondary logo at all.
There are three teams in the ECHL using image of a bear in their identities.
It's Detroit - Motown, the D or the D-town, so I think the primary is great.
Using a horse or a mustang (I presume it's the "horses under the hood" reference) for the Motor City's secondary logo is just perfect idea.
For the Chargers - I'd love to see logo set #1 with the colors of logo #2. I think that combo would be better than anything shown.
Slavo and Matt are the class. I'd love to see Slavo's with a different color, just to get away from Detroit using red, and looking peripherally familiar to Calgary
I'm torn on this one. My chargers logo is my favorite out of the ones I produced but Slavo Kiss's is really great. I would be all for letting that be the Stallions logo seeing as a horse and a bee vs two different horses is would be visually interesting!
The credit card one is hilarious & totally original, so that's my vote!

Slavo has a NHL-level idea. I'd use the horsehead without the triangle as a primary.
Detroit's designs are very much a two-man race between Slavo Kiss and Matt McElroy in this one, no question.
Kiss' logo is just so sharp--I think you could put either logo as the primary and it would still be a solid set.
With McElroy's, I love the inspiration drawn from the SuperBee. It's definitely the most unique out of the submissions, but it's also done very well, so I absolutely love it.
This is going to be tough picking one of them.
Also, I think John Elbertson's red submission should be getting more love than it is. It's a nice look.
