The purple logos look very very similar to the Phantom Fireworks logo.
After going through all of the teams, Matt McElroy did an amazing job on most, if not all, if his logos. Wouldn't be surprised if his logos won for each team.
Matt Mciroy's design is very nice but given the Sentinel nickname, I still think the original design by Rik Oko is hard to beat.
Definitely say stick with the Original! A few other great ones but I love that current set.
Craig Wheelers would make for a great Hamilton Knights set ;)
And the old Chris Smith set.... What?
The eagle in Hainsfurther's logo is stock art, found here and other places.

I think that Matt's secondary logo should be employed with the current set. If the colors were matched up, this could be a good shoulder and better than the current one.
Anyone else want to see Matt's become the new Capitals logo? It's got the "Original Six" feel without feeling faux-olde-timey.
Matt's logo is easily the best logo here, but the similarities to the Washington Capitals make me want to avoid seeing it as the Sentinels logo. I agree with Bleys though, I'd love to see it as a Caps logo.
Washington's designs are led by Rik Oko, Matt McElroy and Craig Wheeler.
Oko's original design stands as one of my three favorite logos in the IceHL, and thus I don't really want to see it replaced.
But, Matt McElroy's design does a great job of bringing together the visual elements that he does and it's a solid look that utilizes the faded color scheme so well!
I've always had a thing for knights. That's why I love Wheeler's old submission. Plus, it might be funny to have a knight and a dragon in the league--artificial rivalry!
It is really hard to get excited when some people just keep voting on the old logos and names.
Now, don't get me wrong, the people who put the work in on all this stuff....DO AMAZING stuff. I could never do anything remotely similar.
But I thought this process was to freshen up the league? Make things new and fun. It's a fictional hockey league, we should be having fun with it and changing things around. It would be one thing if this were an actual league because consistency is needed build brands, reputation and fans. But this isn't that, we aren't buying tickets for this league or building up a franchises value for a business portfolio.
Just my two cents. Wish people would vote for some more change.
