IceHL JDC: Salt Lake City Scorpions

Time to pick jerseys! Choose up to 8 of your favorite Salt Lake City Scorpions jersey designs. All 19 sets are listed in random order; the VOTE button is at the bottom of the page. The jersey set that collects the most votes wins.

Results will be revealed after voting closes on Wed., Dec. 28 and will remain hidden until that time. (Notes: The 3-letter codes are meant to help distinguish each design and keep anonymity of designers. Also, don't worry if a design lacks polish. If necessary, the winning design will be cleaned up before it's declared "official.")

Choose up to 8 jersey sets. Click on images to enlarge. Voting ends December 28.

The comments will be open to allow for discussion of the merits of each design. To the designers, you may comment on your work but please do not break the anonymity. To everyone else, keep it civil. Attacks will not be tolerated. You can talk about what you like and what you don't like about them. But if you take the time to write a comment, please explain your positions. If you simply write, "X is cool, or X sucks"... don't expect to see your comment approved. That's all. Happy voting!

Not all submissions are included in voting. Those that did not meet the set requirements have been discarded. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

I have to say, for what is arguably the best group of logos in the IceHL, the jerseys overall aren't grabbing me. I love some individual ones, but for NO and HOU, they're sort of traditional, but have amazing graphic logos.

LOVING the Nissan Cube version of the SLC jersey. Of the group, SLC definitely had the most unique ideas.

Can't wait until the Motorheads are up.

Those SLC Scorpions jerseys are so awesome I'd buy them if they were on the shelf! I could have voted for everyone of them, wow!!

@ETOWN
I'm going to assume "everyone of them" included my design too so thanks for the complement :)

Really glad to see some non-traditional jerseys, especially in this group. I don't want to see all the IceHL fall into super-traditional designs, and the South division would probably be the best place to change them up a bit.

NAJ's collar idea is great! I haven't seen anyone play around with the collar like that. The only thing I'd like to see is the repetition of the diagonal stripes on the sleeves. The diagonal collar with the vertical sleeves just looks a little off.

I love asymmetrical designs for a jersey because NO ONE does it. WOJ took a chance and it could look good on the ice but something just looks off... Maybe the yellow plays with my eye and makes it look like the chest logo is off-center. Not sure, but I do love the idea of an asymmetrical jersey.

MAC, cool idea but all I can say is, "Cosby sweater". Could be a great one-time christmas game jersey.

LNS and BOA are standouts for me. Both took a chance on non-traditional sweaters. BOA repeated the design in the Scorpion throughout the jersey with sharp diagonals while LNS made a bold statement with its diagonal thick striping. Each jersey also has fonts that match the logo perfectly.

@WAC yes! This one and you're New Orleans jersey are two of my favorite designs out of the whole division. Well done!

Thanks for the feedback, Andrew! I used the asymmetrical design to try to give a subtle hint to the shape of a scorpion's tail. I wish I could see it on the ice to see if it works as well as I'd like it too.
