Time to pick jerseys! Choose up to 5 of your favorite California Wave jersey designs. All 18 sets are listed in random order; the VOTE button is at the bottom of the page. The jersey set that collects the most votes wins.
Results will be revealed after voting closes on Wed., April 4 and will remain hidden until that time. (Notes: The 3-letter codes are meant to help distinguish each design and keep anonymity of designers. Also, don't worry if a design lacks polish. If necessary, the winning design will be cleaned up before it's declared "official.")

The comments will be open to allow for discussion of the merits of each design. To the designers, you may comment on your work but please do not break the anonymity. To everyone else, keep it civil. Attacks will not be tolerated. You can talk about what you like and what you don't like about them. But if you take the time to write a comment, please explain your positions. If you simply write, "X is cool, or X sucks"... don't expect to see your comment approved. That's all. Happy voting!

I love all the options available for the Wave.
WAC & MDM are my standouts.
MDM would be my absolute favorite if that font was tweaked a little but.
I wish all 18 of these could win. Great colors and some insane (in a good way) jersey ideas. If I had to pick one I'd go with LAR. The setting sun on the hemline and the starbursts on the shoulder are just too good.

LAR and WAC. WAC's reminds me of the old and much-hated (i thought it was ok...) Islanders fisherman 3rd, but the nice logo somehow makes it look very good. With LAR, I love the use of the orange sun both on the shoulders and lower stripe, which really evokes a sunset feel - a beautiful touch.
Lots of really creative and "different" jerseys, perhaps my favorite batch from all the teams. A very nice color set to work with for sure.
I'm getting a fishsticks vibe from a few jerseys here. No offense intended.
MDM and LAR are my two favorites here.
I assume if you want to see a popular ICE hockey team in LA, you have to make it cool, fun and warm. I absolutely love the logos you designed. Thus the jersey, imo, has to be necessary warm colours, beach fun and... have a WAVE. This is the team's name isnt it? I automatically wiped out all designs with straight lines. How can you try to surf on straight floor?
My vote goes to LAR as number 1, then KLA because he incorporated on the chest the really fun alt logo.
GUP could be very great but somehow it reminds me of the Japanese tsunami or something not cool at all.
Thanks for all the complements guys! I was actually going for something similar to the Fishermen jersey when I was making this because I like how it looked too.

It wasnt my intetion to place the tsunami on the jersey... if that is the case i appologize.
WAC's is definitely the best of the "wavy line" jerseys here. Clean, good-looking, interesting while still remaining simple. I'm going to guess that it's going to go to either WAC or LAR, whose jersey is phenomenal for all the reasons already given. I'd like to add that I love the curved nameplate for that jersey, as well as the number font.
My other favorites are MDM and LNS. MDM's is such an aggressive looking jersey, no calm waves here, and it's executed incredibly well, right down to the two flying droplets on the front. The nameplate font is my only concern, and even then I think it's only the letter "a" that throws me off; it's a little TOO creative and borders on illegibility. The arms on LNS's jersey are original, aesthetically pleasing, and generally pretty awesome. Nothing overly fancy, but still new and different, and I think it looks like it would work pretty well. I also want to compliment ANB on what I think is a really solid jersey design, but I just don't think it's right for the Wave. It would look great on another team, though.
I absolutely love LAR's jersey; perfect for the team. The sun on the shoulders and the sunset on the bottom is a very creative design. One thing that I mega-loathe is when jerseys are not uniform between home and away. Don't use the primary logo for one jersey and the secondary for the other. It's just a pet peeve for me; I don't know about anyone else though.
GUP reminds me of an old San Diego Gulls jersey I have but without palm trees
