Results will be revealed after voting closes on Wed., April 4 and will remain hidden until that time. (Notes: The 3-letter codes are meant to help distinguish each design and keep anonymity of designers. Also, don't worry if a design lacks polish. If necessary, the winning design will be cleaned up before it's declared "official.")

The "stitching" on the shoulders of GUP's design is awesome! NAJ and WAC are some other favorites too... It's too bad that all of these remind me of garbage Cleveland Browns football.
WJN, MCB... AWESOME!!!
WJN is soooo creative, definitely worth a vote for going outside the box. My two favorites though are NSB and BEG for sure though!
WJN is really neat, would love to see this template with some NHL colour pallets
I love the shoulder yoke on GUP's design. The texture of the khaki and the number font on LAR's design are cool too. Those two are my favorites.
Agreed for WJN - now that is something new!
I almost voted for MCB too but it reminds me too much of comic books.
Funny almost no one used the alternate logo.
I voted for WJN on creativity alone, good job!
IMO this logo doesn`t look very good on a jersey.
Thanks for the kind words regarding my shoulder design. As i mentioned earlier i hold WJN and MCB as the favorites from my end.
In agreement with everyone else about the incredible creativity of WJN's design, which absolutely blew me away, but I'm not sure if it works here. I'd be really interested to see it with some other teams, but I wonder if we might just be gravitating towards it because it's so new and different. It definitely works pretty well, or else we'd be ignoring it, but my gut just doesn't want to go with it right now. Definite props for going there, though, and I do think that the design has potential. I might suggest experimenting with continuing the stripe up and over the shoulder, first so that it doesn't end so abruptly, and secondly so that the little bottom stripe on the back looks like it's supposed to connect with something instead of just hanging out all on its own.
That said, GUP is definitely my favorite. The shoulders are phenomenal; there's not a whole lot else to say there. Great job!
Thanks for all the positive feedback! I've been a big fan of this site and these were my first submissions.
My Portland jersey design started as Alaska's but I couldn't get the light grays to look good on a dark jersey.
The reason I think it looks pleasing is that it has a vertical logo. Many NHL logos are either horizontal (Montreal, Detroit), circular (Edmonton, Boston) or square shaped (Chicago, Toronto). Some teams have a vertical alternate logo that may fit (Buffalo's B with sword).
A lot of baseball teams have a vertical letter on their caps (Red Sox, Phillies, Pirates, Mariners, Angels). These would look good on this jersey (as would the Houston Oilers' derrick). This Portland jersey does have a baseball vibe to it.
With half of the front of the white jersey being "dark" I wanted to keep the rest of it open, to stay "white" - white sleeves, white shoulders, white back. Also, I live by the "Row J 300" rule - how legible are the numbers to the guy sitting in the tenth row in the upper deck? That's why I ended the stripes below the numbers (same with my California design).
I also left comments under the Seattle design...
Thanks for spotting that March. The wood grain texture took a long time to do but it only looked good kind of faint. I envisioned some of the IIHF Olympic jerseys when I decided to try it.
