IceHL JDC: Seattle Aviators
Time to pick jerseys! Choose up to 5 of your favorite Seattle Aviators jersey designs. All 23 sets are listed in random order; the VOTE button is at the bottom of the page. The jersey set that collects the most votes wins.
Results will be revealed after voting closes on Wed., April 4 and will remain hidden until that time. (Notes: The 3-letter codes are meant to help distinguish each design and keep anonymity of designers. Also, don't worry if a design lacks polish. If necessary, the winning design will be cleaned up before it's declared "official.")

The comments will be open to allow for discussion of the merits of each design. To the designers, you may comment on your work but please do not break the anonymity. To everyone else, keep it civil. Attacks will not be tolerated. You can talk about what you like and what you don't like about them. But if you take the time to write a comment, please explain your positions. If you simply write, "X is cool, or X sucks"... don't expect to see your comment approved. That's all. Happy voting!

Tough call here, but I'll vote for LNS. Jersey fits the logo very nicely.
OK... What jersey set is not great... would like to vote for everyone in this case... If i had to choose one i would vote for WAC
Thanks GUP, your jersey looks really good too. There are a lot of very nice designs in this batch!
I went with BLB because it reminds me of a pilot's uniform. I chuckled when I saw that LAR put a dress shirt collar patched or subliminated on, also going for the "pilot uniform" look.
I'm surprised nobody's commented on WJN's jersey here, because in my opinion this one absolutely nails it, I like it so much more than the Portland design. The Pioneers jersey was new and interesting, but I had trouble seeing it on a person, whereas this one I can absolutely see on the ice. The color choices are great, although I wish the white jersey had a little bit more green, maybe on the collar or the ends of the arms. I also think that the curve maybe could have continued up to the collar instead of ending abruptly at the shoulder seam, but other than that, I think this is a perfect example of an original, very creative jersey that really works!
LAR is another winner in my book. The collar is what drew me in, as Chase mentioned, but the striping is really solid as well. I really like the fonts, as well, in particular for the numbers; I wonder if the nameplate font might be a little too difficult to read.
Thanks for the positive feedback LYD.
When designing a jersey, there are some constants: big numbers on the back, smaller numbers on the sleeves, name on the back, team logo centered on the front, horizontal striping pattern along the hem...
But those last two aren't mandatory, and I intentionally tried to avoid them. I put the logo off-center on this jersey and my Portland design, I went vertical striping on these two plus my California one. And the Vancouver and Alaska jerseys mimicked the letters V and A.
Um...I got more thoughts, but I'll wait till voting is over.
MDM's design is my favorite here. So clever, it would really give the team that "Aviator" identity.
ANB and MDM's designs are my favorites on here. Good job guys! You both have great striping patterns, and they look fantastic! If I don't win, I hope you do!
I also don't know why my design and POJ's are so similar. Coincidence, I guess!
