0180: A Nod to Leafs History

Any good reason why the Maple Leafs shouldn't use these as their home and road jerseys? It's a nod to history while still quite modern. Another bang-up job by Nick Burton.

I would LOVE to see these on the ice. I think the Leafs "classic" look they use now, isn't great. I love more imagination and for a 2 colour team, I think the imagination really needs to show up. This concept is great for it. Great work Nick!
Very clean and combines classic and modern elements.
Everything is perfect except for the stripes on the socks. Not enough.
I love the mix of the 1967 and 1970 designs with the darker shade of blue it makes it look retro and yet not at the same time. Much better than the Jerseys they wear now.
If the Maple Leafs did change jerseys, I'd like to see them bring back the 1966 version of the leaf logo. Other than that, and maybe the socks, these look pretty great.
Considering this kit draws its inspiration from one if the most non eventful and loathed management reigns, I don't think the leafs want to revisit that look anytime soon. Third jersey is what we wore in 67. That was a championship year. Current unis are from the 90s Gilmour era. That's the kind of team the fans want to see.
This is decent. The blue is too dark though, but there a million reasons why the leafs will never use these.
