I really, really like angled bottom edge to the sleeve striping. Not something that's seen often enough. Looks great with the Penguins' colors.
I HATE the Pens (Philly fan), but I always thought the black and "old gold" was much better than the "vegas gold" they switched to.
I'd love to see the Pens in gold again, but I don't think Robo-Pen and Skating-Pen should ever coexist on the same uniform.
Really like the secondary use of the ro-bo Penguin overall a solid look if I had 1 suggestion maybe a black alt with the gold as the accent?
It's a little too yellow for my tastes, but I do like the overall design.
However, yellow helmets are a sin.
As much as I would love Pittsburgh to drop the Vegas Gold and return to "old gold", I don't think the jersey (and especially not the helmets) should be all gold. Also nobody seemed to like that template when the New York Islanders were wearing them, so I'm not sure why it's so popular with the Penguins.
Love the gold one, minus the shoulder patches. They don't look bad, but I just think it would be cleaner without them. That and I never cared for the pigeon logo.
Don't like the white ones as much, though they're still an improvement over the current ones. Looks too dark for a white jersey. Maybe change the black to white or gold and adjust the numbers?
I really miss the old gold of the 90s, hopefully they bring it back soon!
I'd love for the Pens to bring back the yellow-gold. These are good concepts, but I'd prefer that the style of 1980-1992 was just directly applied to the RBK Edge template and the "Sunday-Golds" came back as an alternate.
I really like the white, it's well-balanced, but the yellow is just too gaudy. I can't really see the Pens in yellow anymore, but a black version of this would look pretty snazzy.
We have a WINNER!! Only change I would request is to NEVER EVER EVER EVER put the Pigeon logo on a Penguins jersey again. Hate that logo with a passion! Skating Penguin stands alone, all 3 SC Banners have what....Skating Penguin! Pens took pigeon logo off of the shoulders and what...returned to the SC Finals! Thank god pigeon logo is dead and buried!!

Even though it's done using paint or something, it looks a heck of a lot nicer than the awful sweaters they currently wear.
I never have been a fan of odd colored helmets like yellow so I'm not a huge fan of a yellow home uniform. on the other hand that white looks really nice, it would even look good in the vegas gold. I also like the old gold but when you make your seats a certain color in your arena i think its here to stay for a while.
The road jerseys look great, but I think the home jersey should have the black and yellow reversed. It should be predominantly black.
While people are entitled to their own tastes, it really blows my mind how many hockey fans aren't open-minded about yellow being a primary light colour besides white. That yellow Penguin concept is absolutely beautiful. Being a Canucks fan, I was a huge fan of their home yellows during the 80s. It was the Flying V design and the constant losing that was the problem with those uniforms. Yellow adds variety to light uniforms and makes the more traditional white stand out on it's own as well. It's not like a team wearing pink or lime green.
Look at the NBA Lakers for example. They have worn athletic gold at home for decades and due to their never-ending success, their home uniforms have always looked great. Team Sweden wears yellow. Brazil in soccer wears yellow. Yellow helmets should be worn with a yellow uniform and the Predators should take note. The only thing I don't like about primary yellows in sports is when they're worn against a team in white. Nashville should wear their yellows on the road with a matching navy at home.
The only yellows that should never see the dawn of day in sports is that horrible mustard the Preds wore a few years ago and the light neon yellow that the MLS Sounders wore for one season.
@Andre, I agree with everything you said. Yellow is awesome and the Preds should be Navy at home and Yellow on the road.

I'm biased towards the Robo Penguin, one of the greatest sports logos in history in my opinion, and I'd like to see it as a primary, but seeing it anywhere on a Pens jersey would make me happy. Loved the uniforms during the Robo Pen era just as much. The classic Pens unis are pretty cool, too, I'd rather see these as their current throwbacks than the ones they have now.
