0448: A Future Heritage Classic

This Winter Classic Weekend brings us a look at a future Heritage Classic between the Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers. Bryan Dyck has a great pair of jerseys here that aren't actually that unrealistic.

love both. I would if went with navy pants for the jets that way not as similar as the rangers.
Love the Edmonton jersey, but the Jets concept is too similar to the Rangers classics from last year, i think a slightly different striping pattern and a lighter shade of blue would make it a beautiful sweater.
Love both! Edmonton seriously needs an orange third jersey
Beautiful perhaps offer a lighter shade of blue for the jets and no contrasting name plate for the oilers but both are very nice and would offer a great contrast for viewers/fans.
I totally agree with the first two about the Rangers similarity - however the Jets did wear red pants back in the day, so they surely have a right to it now. The Oilers jerseys are magnificent and they (like Vancouver with green) really need to utilize their whole palette. Lastly, as I've mentioned many times, the white name bar on a coloured jersey is terrible and needs to be retired from hockey. It's never a good addition. It's a trend. Don't follow silly trends.
I really like both of these. That is what the Jets' logo should have been. The Oilers are missing be boat by not having an Orange jersey. Nice work!
I like the Oilers, but if you're going back for a WHA look, then give the Jets the WHA logo, not that monstrosity that passed as a logo for the 80s.
I've lived in Winnipeg my whole life, and as far as I'm concerned they can't get rid of that old 80's and 90's Jets branding soon enough, you still see it everywhere (but only since we got a team back).
please stop the different colour name plates!!! Jets unis were the old Rangers jerseys that John Ferguson brought to te Jets with him, so I lik the NYR influence.... Good stuff here
Love both. The Oilers definitely need to bring in a WHA Alberta Oilers-inspired third jersey, and the Jets need to bring back the old Jets' look for a third.
