0315: Waddell's Winter Classic, Part 8

Another Saturday brings another pair of fauxback Winter Classic jerseys from the Waddell brothers. This time, as requested last week by Joe Langdon, it's Detroit and Carolina. Guess that's what the Hurricanes might've looked like in 1997 had they kept the Whalers' colors.

Great ideas but the hurricanes one is reaching too far, time to let go of the whalers and canes being one and the same. Treat them as different like the devils do with the rockies and blades. The red Wings are way too busy perhaps no solid white line where the logo sits on the chest. This jersey would be a hit if the colours were inverted.

Your effort and skills are absolutely awesome even if we don't always like the execution, can't wait for next weekend!

Thanks for the kind words Smenecola! I like sharing these with you guys even though I'm not too amped about Buffalo and Tampa going up next weekend. Those two were far from my favorites in this series. but oh well, hopefully someone likes them. And to Vancity, I know you meant a Whalers' logo on the chest, but I did bring back Pucky! That has to count for something right?

i think you guys should do Vintage teams Like the Minnesota North Stars , Quebec Nordiques and Hartford Whalers thing kind of like the winter classic just every week you redesign a classic jersey

i can't see carolina ever wearing something like that- even for a one-off like at the winter classic. i can't say i like it, but i am glad you mocked it up that way. great in concept.

I don't like how you guys haven't used rivals n the real winter classic it would of been Pittsburgh and Philly not Pittsburgh and la they only I've liked in terms of the match is Habs and Sens But the Concepts have been looking smashing good job
