0122: Supersonics Meet Hockey
Tuesday · Jun 19 · 2012 | 9:00 AM PDT 4 Comments
Finally back from my long vacation, though with the daily updates during my absence, it's not like you would've really known I was away. It's Day 2 of No Hockey Week and after a few baseball-inspired hockey uniforms yesterday, the NBA is the focus this time around.
Tonight, the Oklahoma City Thunder are hoping to tie up their championship playoff series with the Miami Heat, much to the dismay of Seattle basketball fans who are missing their Supersonics right about now. Maybe these Sonics concepts by Matt Harris and Thomas Gentile will help with that pain.
Tomorrow, the subject will be football... but not the kind you're thinking.

I like the idea for the concept actually i've made on similar. however; i have a problem with the pants and numbers on the home jersey. I believe the pants should also be green and the numbers should be white. Also some more white on the home jersey couldn't hurt.
Finally. Yellow pants. I suppose it does look strange to have such a light, bright color where there normally never is. It almost feels like the weight of the uniform's look is completely shifted because of it. Overall, I really like the Harris.
Love it all, save for the yellow pants. Great work though.
Nice color scheme on these, except those yellow pants, yuck. Too bad the Sonics' logo is so bland, not really much to work with on that front.
