0199: 8-Bit Hockey Sweaters

This is your typical hockey uniform concept. It's a little different. Al McCready likes to create 8-bit artwork. He also likes hockey sweaters. Think that's all you really need to know. Thoughts?

The Leafs player looks exactly like Dion Phaneuf. Not sure if that's a coincidence, but these are really cool either way.

B. Hesse, no it's not a coincidence. Philly is Hartnell, Winnipeg is Ladd, Boston is Thomas Pittsburgh is Crosby, LA is Carter etc.

ACTUALLY, Philly is a self portrait. :D

Also, I've since updated this image, and drawn EVERY TEAM, plus a few extras! http://alcreed.tumblr.com/post/29411246676/here-they-are-all-in-one-place-all-thirty-nhl

@MattH I could tell many of them looked sort of like players, but was unsure. However, with Phaneuf I was just so positive. His face is basically 8-bit.

Is the 8-bit Cowboy Bill Flett in the Flyer sweater?

Speaking of look-a-likes, it appears that The Great one is among us in his Oilers sweater.

Maybe that's Steve Yzerman in the Red Wings kit too.
