0483: Outdoor Hockey in Sunny CA
One of six outdoor NHL games scheduled for next winter will take place in Los Angeles when the Kings host the Ducks. Connor Sheehan proposes a couple of jerseys inspired by a special game played back in the winter of 1996. Who could forget those original third jerseys?

I'm probably the only one but i liked that mighty ducks third and i do want that jersey
Not a Winter Classic game, nor is it in Anaheim. Sleeve numbers are backward and upside down.
Outside of that, back numbers on the Kings jerseys are impossible to read with the black sash--one of the reasons Bob Miller hated them so much.
Aside from the fact that the game is being played at Dodger Stadium in LA (Not Angel Stadium in Anaheim), this is amazing
this is a joke right? they would never actually unleash these on the world again, would they?
I'm one of the people who like(d) the Mighty Ducks, their logo, and jerseys. I didn't care if they were cheesy and made by Disney. But EVEN I never liked the Wild Wing jersey. That travesty deserves to stay packed away in the moth balls.
Same thing with the Kings' jerseys. They took the 90s experimentation too far.
I want these jerseys so bad for the outdoor game in LA.
Cool concept, even though I've never liked that Kings jersey. To be completely honest, the Kings' concept on here is the best concept based on that jersey I have ever seen. Call me crazy but I think it would be awesome if the Ducks brought back the Wildwing. I'm still dreaming for the day they will at least start wearing them for St. Patrick's Day. I know people find the Wildwing ugly but you have to admit, it is truly unique. You always hear about people wanting unique looks like the Hurricane stripes on the Canes' uniforms, which are unfortunetly no longer on their uniforms and I think the Wildwing fits that criteria. If Wildwing isn't unique, I don't know what is. :p Hopefully the Kings will wear the yellow version of their forum blue and gold throwbacks. Imagine that, Kings in yellow and Ducks in their Wildwings would give us a super rare green vs. yellow game. Now that would be something.
These jerseys are spectacular in their total ridiculousness/'90s-ness and while they're totally garish I love them.
(That said eggplant Ducks and Lakers Gold Kings will be more than fine with me)

Thanks for the "constructive" criticism and compliments guys. I only realize now the Kings shoulder numbers are backwards :p I made these over a year ago, before it was announced to be in Dodger stadium, so that would explain that.
