0560: Yankee Stadium Preview

This Stadium Series concept by Bastian Schmülling sort of walks the line of a Freak Out Friday, doesn't it? It's really sharp, but how many Islanders fans would support putting teal back in the uniform?

I wouldn't mind on bit if the Isle went back to teal and the shade of blue they had during the mid 90's-2007. That would actually be a good uniform set IMO (though the throwback seems to be here to stay for a long while).

As for the Rangers one, I have no real strong feelings either way. I like that it's the old jersey font they used, that's neat.

As an Islander fan myself, I wouldn't mind seeing the teal come back as a one-off, like this Winter Classic jersey. But not regularly. It took them years, but the team finally came up with a great home/road combo (except for that hideous black alternate), and it'd suck if they messed with it.
