With the Winter Classic behind us, the NHL Stadium Series is just around the corner. Check out these Rangers and Devils jerseys from Nick Burton. Would they make for a better looking outdoor game than the real jerseys?

Well, this one was going to be a "preview" of the Chicago Blackhawks' Stadium Series jersey. Back when Mike Ivall submitted it and I made plans to post it, the Hawks had yet to announce an unveiling date. Now we've seen it. So the cool thing about this that we can all appreciate together is just how close Mike came to nailing it!
Mike also sent in this one prior to the Rangers' unveiling yesterday. Not bad, though. What do you think of these two sets? Is either one better than the real thing?
Stadium Series Week is winding down with another day of New York-centric concepts. Matt Madore presents this set for the Rangers/Islanders meeting. It's so unusual to see that shield on a Rangers jersey, but it really works. As for the Islanders, that's a lot of stripes.
And the prolific Mat Ware imagines a more colorful assembly of these two teams. Orange is becoming a very popular base for jersey concepts these days. Think we need more orange jerseys around?
It's Stadium Series Week on the Concepts page and Dylan Wonka gets us over the hump with three jerseys for the Yankee Stadium games. His take on the Rangers is unique but likely not accurate. The team will wear white with NEW YORK across the chest. Still, it's a clever use of an element of the Rangers' shield logo.
Next up is an Islanders proposal. I'm intrigued by the use of black striping on the primarily blue and orange sweater. But I have a feeling Long Island fans wouldn't warm to it.
And lastly, we have the Devils. So far we've been hearing the Devils will go with a throwback unlike the rest of the participating teams. However, they'll be wearing red instead of white. Look for them to sport the red and green number they've worn on St. Patrick's Day in recent years.

As we continue to wait on the unveiling of the Stadium Series jersey designs, Avi Stein has a pair for the Rangers/Devils game at Yankee Stadium. Each is a neat re-imagining of the teams' past uniform designs. Would you enjoy seeing either of these in action in January?

This Stadium Series concept by Bastian Schmülling sort of walks the line of a Freak Out Friday, doesn't it? It's really sharp, but how many Islanders fans would support putting teal back in the uniform?
