0699: Feelin' Retro in Jersey

If the New Jersey Devils are ever tapped for a Winter Classic, will they just wear the standard red and green? Or could they pull a Rangers/Flyers and go faux retro? If it's the latter, Matt Marczel may have hit the nail on the head.

I love New Jersey concepts! More than any team they're the hardest team to dig up ideas for. I'd love to see this jersey with green instead of black as a third.

anything is better than what they have now. its a nice look while remaining within the conservative look the Devils want...love the away sox

I completely disagree with the above comment. I think what they have is really an untouchable in my opinion. I do think the concept is a nice concept. Would I take it over their set? Probably not, but the red one has potential to be a cool third design.

Not sure how I feel about the waist and shoulder striping on the red jersey. The white one looks incredible as is, but I would like to see it without the red at the end of the sleeves. Overall two very solid concepts, especially given how difficult it is to redesign the Devils. Bravo!

Wasn't this a flyer's concept a while back?

Answering my own question, yes this was a flyers concept a while back.

Looks great for both teams, although It could work for almost any team.
