These are alright, but i think there is a little TOO much of the hurricane flag pattern on them. and their current alternate jersey is one of the best black jerseys in the league and i like that it has the alternate logo instead of the regular one.
I love the white jersey. The red in the home jersey logo gets lost in the red on the sweater so I'd make the logo outline bolder. The black jersey is an ok start but the numbers are hard to see. I would have moved the red squares to the waist. All in all, they are nicer than Carolina's jersey set that they currently wear imo.
These look awesome! Love the flags on the black jersey! Great job Dylan!
Black jersey is nice, maybe the numbers would stand out better if they were white
An upgrade over what they have now, in my opinion.
Jerseys are nice, I agree with the sentiments that the numbers are a bit hard to pick up in the black jersey.
I wish the team would use their secondary logo as it's primary. I think it's a much stronger symbol and much sharper looking too. The primary logo on a black third would then look pretty cool.
The only thing I really don't like is the secondary logo and alternate jersey. Every time somebody tries to 'correct' it by adding the extra flag, it just looks awkward and unbalanced, making it abundantly clear why the pros did what they did when designing the team's identity in the first place.
As for the alt, it's just a too loud. The Canes uniforms have always balanced loud elements within a fairly straightforward and traditional layout, and while they went a little more radical with the black, it's still nowhere near as loud as this one is. I applaud the attempt on the alt, it's new, bold, and while I think it's a miss, it's not nearly as wildly removed from reality as some concepts that find their way here.
The white is bang on, and the red would be perfect without the yoke piping, but that's a beef I have with the current set too. You nailed those, IMO. I could see them on the ice tomorrow (or next week, or next month, or next year...). Kudos.
