0205: Silver is What the Stars Need
The Dallas Stars are in need of new uniforms. There's no question about that. And the concepts abound from Icethetics readers. But rarely have I come across one I like as much as this. Victor You has incorporated some cool striping effects and swapped out the gold for silver. For whatever reason, it changes entirely the way I think about this team's brand... for the better! Is it just me?

I like how it brings back the green with an interesting shade. At the same time though it makes me think of Quaker State & Lube...
Very cool! I'm sure most fans would be happy with this. This is a design which could easily work on the edge sweater system too.
Classy and unique striping and a very well-balanced design with the shoulder yolks matching the bottom color-heavy areas!
I can envision the metallic silver replacing the gold reminiscent of an actual Texas Ranger badge! Great job!
I really like the jersey design. Very nice. But IMO the green is too dark, and I'd prefer they use gold (the real gold colour like they currently use) rather than silver.
Fantastic. Honestly, this would probably be my new favorite jersey in the NHL if this were to be used by the team. It takes a lot for me to say that too being that I'm a Blackhawks fan. Great job.
I like it, BUT I think that shade of green is too dark to create any kind of contrast with the silver. As is, it's a very dull palette; it almost looks monochrome.
I like these a lot, but I'd change the grey back to gold.
Replace the silver with gold, and sold.

Sounds weird, but I'd like to see it with the silver replaced with gold. Would be pretty sweet.
Looks great; Still think they could use some gold stripping or outlining just not over-doing the whole jersey, but adding a little "star" shine to the jersey to make it stand out
I think silver would be a step up from the gold, it might even be because of how good it looks on this design. The only issue I see is the star on the front and back. I mean, it looks great, but game in and game out it might not have that same wow factor. I think it's a bit of an over-kill. IMO leave it off the hem and keep it on the arms only! But this is great.
I love it! I especially love the subtly updated word mark, the star on the bottom of the jersey and the wicked Texas shoulder patch. Really good job!
Good design but it looks a lot like the Everett Silvertips.
The silver looks awesome! I am a bit weirded out by the crotch-star and bumhole-star. Perhaps move those to the hips?
Isn't the badge just like the Houston Texans (http://unf-tv.com/Sports/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/houston_texan.jpg)? It is just flipped horizontally
replace silver with gold, make the green a bit brighter, and its perfect.

Excellent design, I would just go back to their older colors, light green and gold.
Great looking jersey! Not sure about the silver yet, it does look good, but as a Stars fan, Green, Black and Gold are the colours I expect to see. Still, a nice look!
That said, the stars on the bottom striping look too much like Star Trek badges (whatever they're called, the little buttons they all wear) for my taste (not enough "star," in order to be a star, if you know what I mean...). Otherwise, a great looking template!
This is cool. I think more than anything though the Stars need a new logo, but the lines and accent stars are nice
