I think Nick Burton just knocked one out of the park. When the Boston Bruins inevitably return to Winter Classic action, this is the sweater they must wear. They must then make it their full time road jersey and create a home sweater to match. They would never need another jersey for the rest of time.

love it, though only as a third (or maybe a regular white). they can't take away the spoked B completely as written in the description. that would be wrong.
Okay now Chris, while I agree that this truly is a concept that's been "knocked out of the park" - you may be going a little overboard with saying that this needs to become their new jersey. Remember when you decided to rank every jersey in the National Hockey League, as according to Icethetics readers? The Bruins finished with BOTH of their jerseys in the top twelve, and their look keeps the tradition of the Bruins as their jerseys have changed little since the days of Bucyk, Cheevers, and Bobby Orr. So should this be the Bruins' new home AND away jersey? In my mind, no. Is this still an outstanding concept? Of course. Should it be a road alternate like the Capitals used with their 2011 Winter Classic jersey? Abso-freakin'-lutely.
I would have to agree with Kevin the jersey is great. Great for a winter classic. But not as nice as the description depicts i'd say
Great jersey. Love it. Like others I don't think it should replace their current jerseys. Especially with that logo. I don't like that logo very much.
The Original Six patch is brilliant, I'd like to see that on the other 5 members.
The only improvement I would suggest is a real (Original Six-era, Bobby Orr-type) shoulder yoke with rounded ends. Otherwise, this lifelong Bruins fan approves.
Really love this. White jerseys have always been my favorite and I love the bruins in brown. Great away alt. option!
I love this, all it needs is to replace the alternate crest with the spoked B. Also, the description says to create a matching home version - just bring back their first Winter Classic jersey and they have a matching set. I'd love to see the Bruins in something like this, simply because I thought their WC sweaters were so great that they should be worn all the time.
I've been saying that the Bruins need to bring back the brown for the longest time. Whether it's the darker brown or the shade used in this concept, it needs to come back. Great concept!
