0431: South Florida Classic

This week has accidentally had a theme of classic-looking hockey sweaters. Today, Nick Burton brings a bit of tradition to the Florida Panthers. In fact, when they first took the ice 20 years ago, the Cats looked a lot like this. I'd call it a huge improvement over what they wear today.

Great. The only problem is the stick in the Cougars paws

Yo Travis A. i'm pretty sure that's a Panther on the Florida Panthers' jersey. not a cougar.

Perfect jersey template for the Panthers. Now if they could just come up with a logo that doesn't suck. Which means ditching the leaping kitty entirely, stick or no stick.

A lot of fans like the stick, I'm not really one of them, but without the stick this concept is just about perfect. It is 100% better than what the team is sporting today.
