0492: Return of the Tigers

Time to break out an old theme week — NHL teams of the past. We'll be looking at new concepts for different ones each day. We begin with a new look for the Hamilton Tigers courtesy of Andrew Krause.

Although I am not really a fan of the H logo, these jerseys are incredible!!!

As a Preds fan, I have a knee-jerk reaction to anything Hamilton Tigers related; but these are good, simple, and faithful to the history.

I know an Andrew Krause in real life, but he's not someone I imagine would be designing hockey jerseys...

Very nice concepts. However, I would invert the yellow with the white on the primary light uniform and add a yellow helmet to match it. Yellow should be brought back as a primary light uniform and it's perfect for Hamilton.

I'd love it if one of the pre-NHL teams made resurrected from the ancient pages of the history books. These concepts are really good and are a nice nod to the team's original design. One team I'd like to see come back though is the Kenora Thistles. I'd think their jerseys would be interesting, considering their unique identity.
