0575: Seattle Talons
Yet another Seattle Sunday is upon us. For this one, Tyrone Lancaster imagines a club called the Seattle Talons with some interesting native art-inspired logos. And what do you think of that color scheme? Definitely not something we see in the NHL today. But does it befit the Emerald City?

logo is cool and looks great on the white jersey, but i can barely see any of the detail on the green jersey. can't think of a way to fix it though, so i am of no help.

@TYRONE2K: It's all good. It's just that artist etiquette is to attribute borrowed work somewhere on the concept..
I like it. If the Coyotes finally move to Seattle and this became their look, I'd be perfectly ok with it.
I like the concept quite a bit... but feel that its a little too busy. As others have said its hard to make out the details of the logo on the dark jersey. Maybe getting rid of either the orange/red or the gold highlights, and lightening/brightening both greens would help the color scheme? Maybe a lighter color inside the roundel as well could give the logo a little more clarity.
That said, its nice to see a Seattle Concept that takes a more West coast Heritage flavor. Definately has more distinct of an identity than the half dozen Metropolitans concepts I've seen floating around.
We need more Seattle Thunderbird or Totems concepts, people! Then Seattle and Vancouver can have the battle of the best native art theme! :P ...actually wouldn't be half bad.
It's a cool idea, but imho, the head, legs and feet are too curved, and not stylized enough to properly evoke Northwest Coast artwork.
I love the logo but I don't really like the colour combination. I'd drop the black and go with only one shade of green. Maybe add in some gold (assuming the Supersonics return - maybe a good tie-in) or blue (throwback to the Totems and Thunderbirds).
I love this. It is such a unique logo. It reminds me on some levels of the first Coyote logo. I think this would make a great addition to the NHL. Great Job

I love this concept, especially the logo. I know people are pushing for the Metropolitans, but I feel like this would be at home with Seattle and the teams they have their now. Great job!
